I'm fairly sure I was in Calcutta, as an Indian lover or friend (not sure which gender, but probably female) (Mom was convinced the fetus was a girl) of my maternal uncle. He died on a power pole either from electrocution, or falling, or both. The war record of death wasn't that clear. Being attached to my mother, although he was 13 years her elder, he naturally was attracted back to Canada, and was reborn to her, as my elder brother. He shared several of the same qualities, as that's one theory about sudden death and reincarnation. Being infatuated, or in love, or whatever, I must have passed on as well, from disease, or perhaps in the war as well, and followed him to Canada, to the same womb, nearly 4 years later. As a child, I maintained an admiration for my elder brother, and for India, for no obvious reason. Mom had pictures of her brother, Hindu weddings and the like, and I was fascinated with them. It all seemed so exotic, yet somehow familiar.

Not that it matters at all. This is a new incarnation.

I have no interest in my DNA results.
That's fascinating!

I recently pieced together some things that make me highly suspicious that I was a prisoner last time around... and my middle son was, too. Probably with me. We were reviewing some of his behaviors for his special ed plan, and it was noted he's a bully, but only to adults, never kids. "He picks out the head honcho" was his teacher's commentary. A friend said "that's what they do in prison!" and it was like someone struck me in the gut, and I yelled out "that's where I know him from! We were cell mates!" (I'd often commented that at birth, he seemed unusually aware, seemed to recognize me, and was trying very hard to tell me something.) I've always had a fascination with prisons(prison movies are the only movies I'll watch; otherwise I hate movies). In my Pagan days I would make festival cards for Pagans stuck in prisons. (My record in this incarnation is clean, so most didn't/don't understand my sympathies.)

I think it was gang violence... My husband and I were random victims of it. After getting over the attack(in a strange public moment where my heart absolutely broke for the guys who attacked us), I have had an urge to help men stuck in gangs(and then get sent to prison). I abhor gang culture, but anytime I read about men getting wrapped up in gang crime in the paper, I cry for my "lost brother"(something I keep to myself, generally).

But yes, new incarnation...

I have a very wide range of European ancestry, from Galway to Kyiv and most places in between. My favourite though is an ancestor from Transylvania.

Fascinating? As is your story. All of this makes total sense to me, but I also value intuition over intellect, again based on personal experience. Boss is more intuitive than I am, and I'm relatively that way. This son is Aries? (Sorry I can't remember your family order). I think a lot more people would know a lot more about their past lives, if they only allowed the anti-reincarnation programming to dissipate somewhat. Not that it really matters.

Yup, that would be Ares. Ironically, our lives have been mostly revolved around trying to 'get out of jail'... Due to his disability and behavior, life is extremely restricted, and only by working with each other, and for each other, can we 'get out'. Seems karmic to me.

Do you find a lot of anti-reincarnation attitudes? I'm somewhat sheltered, but I find a lot of people quietly 'wonder'.

I'm sheltered too. Yes, I also find many who 'wonder', but there are also those stuck in gridded intellect, and have had no experiences like those which we just shared. So it's natural to be skeptical. I'm also skeptical about a lot of stuff, and on this topic it would be those claiming to have been somebody famous.

Since about 1900 my family have been in the Manchester area.
Prior to that it was Sussex, Portsmouth and East London. My Mum's side had some Welsh blood.
I believe my father's side came originally from Germany but we've never proved it.

Yup. I've met quite a few Atlantian priests/princesses...

I will be genuinely if I ever meet a former Atlantian garbage collector.

I've never had any DNA tests, but what I know from family records is Ashkenazi Jews all the way back to ca. the 16th century, spread around different communities: Germany, Austria, Russia, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, etc.

What is your ethnicity?

What is your ancestry?

I'm English and Greek
I am american.

Most of my ancestors are from Germany

Though there is a nasty rumor running through the family that there are one or two Irish involved.

I don't really know.

Some mix of Portuguese, Native Brazilian and African ancestors, I have to assume.

It is very hard here in Brazil to accurately describe our genetic compositions.
