Erebus,

Outstanding job on your least favorite!

Now we know what you drink down there at 90°S.

My least favorite is anything with Coors, Anheuser-Busch, or Miller's Brewing attached to it.
My favorite is difficult. I love Guiness and Heineken, and I've had some great micro-brews. But I've never had an authentic German beer.

Ther seem to be very few Americans who actually like real beer. They always seem to try to make it taste of something else. Or so cold that it has no taste at all. German beers are pure hops and malt, they may be rather light in body, but at least they have taste and strength.

I tend to like pale amber ales best and don't like the bitter taste of overly hoppy beers.

There are some beers I prefer only on draft like Sam Adams, Tecate and Guinness, bottled, they're not nearly as good.

These are my top three:

My favorite for over 15 years is still Fat Tire. It's smooth but full bodied. It's especially good on tap.

A wheat beer favorite is ShockTop Belgian White. Add a slice of orange or lemon - delicious! Their Lemon Shandy is good, too.

Since I moved to California, I'm really enjoying 805 Firestone Walker, a lighter blonde ale. The brewery is about three miles from my house.
