I didn't know that Nour is unisex. All the Nours I've ever met were women.

It's probably more common for women, but it's definitely unisex.

There's an Arabic song called Nour for precisely this reason: the lyrics tell the story of a woman who applies for a job as a mechanical engineer, a heavily male-dominated position in Egypt, and the interviewer initially assumes her to be a man based on the name on the CV. He then has his gendered expectations challenged and eventually overcome when he realizes Nour is a female applicant.

The English subtitles don't quite catch the full depth of the song, but they should suffice to convey the basic gist of it:
