Your Favorite Prophecy? Question for all religions

*Paul*

Jesus loves you
Approximately prophesied 480 BC
Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

How could the LORD be pierced / thrust through?

Pierced: daqar

Outline of Biblical Usage (from Strongs concordance)
  1. to pierce, thrust through, pierce through
    1. (Qal) to pierce, run through
    2. (Niphal) to be pierced through
    3. (Pual) pierced, riddled (participle)

      Fulfilled approximately AD32
St. John 19:34-37 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

I believe this fits in quite well with the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ.

I believe the giant to be a large asteroid which will lay waste to the earth. We many of whom are the descndants of Woden will send a rocket to blow up the asteroid but only succeed in creating very large pieces that have the same effect.

Rev 6:13 and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind.
14 And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Sounds too much like a stretch, to me. It's still debated whether or not Ragnarok was inspired by Christian influence or not, and I couldn't care less.

I understand that the fire-giants, and Surt specifically, are pretty much localized to Iceland's folklore, and are based on the island's significant volcanic activity contrasted with the... zero? volcanoes in Norway.

Abdullah Ibn Masud disapproved of homosexuality? Are you sure? And of music as well, if I understood you correctly?

Abdullah ibn Masud - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It isn't about disapproval of things but about what will happen in the future prior to the end of time, the prophecy says that

1 - Music will be in every home
2 - Homosexuality will increase
3 - illegitimate children will increase (due to adultery)
4 - Hypocrites and evil people will control the business affairs and the community.
5 - Mosques will be decorated and people will be misled.
6 - Increase of wine drinkers.

Your Favorite Prophecy? Question for all religions

God conversed with Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) and told him in Urdu language :

""main tairi tabligh ko zameen kay kinarun tuk pahunchaun ga".

Its translation in English language is:

"I shall cause thy message to reach the corners of the earth".

And it has happened.

more I find out about Muhammad, and more I admired him.
unfortunately many false news about him

I believe I would think of him as being like Abraham. I admire them both but both had their short comings. What prophecy do you like from Him in the Qu'ran?

I think by NH-USA (as mentioned in your profile) you mean New Hampshire USA.
There is a lot of activity going on there by Ahmadiyya:

64th Annual Convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA – Tina Ramirez to be honored

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is holding their 64th Annual Convention at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on June 29th through July 1st. They are awarding Tina Ramirez, director of international and government relations at the Becket Fund, with the Second Annual Ahmadiyya Muslim Humanitarian Award. Ms. Ramirez is honored to be accepting the award on behalf of her congressional work defending the religious freedom of this community, as well as the Becket Fund’s work challenging Indonesia’s blasphemy law at the Supreme Court.

I have attended an Islamic prayer meeting but it seemed pretty vanilla to me but then people don't tend to wear their labels so I couldn't say whether they are a member of that community or not.

Not much of a prophecy. I feel like any intelligent person could predict these things. Do you find this to be an impressive prophecy?

“Now, tell me of the Last Hour,” asked the man.

The Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “The one asked knows no more of it than the one asking.”

“Then tell me about its signs,” said the man.

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, “That slave women give birth to their mistresses; and that you see barefoot, unclothed, beginning shepherds competing in the construction of tall buildings.

Then the visitor left, and I waited a long time. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked me, “Do you know, Umar, who the questioner was?” I replied, “Allah and His Messenger know best.”He said (Allah bless him and give him peace), “It was Jibril. He came to you to teach you your religion

That is my all time prophecy. Now what is your most favorite prophecy from your religion?

My favorite is Rev. 7:1-8 because it points out that the 144,000 in the Book of Revelation (more commonly called Revelations) are from the tribes of Israel.

Revelation 7:1-8
English Standard Version (ESV)
(1) After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. (2)Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea, (3)saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants[a] of our God on their foreheads.” (4)And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

(5)12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed,
12,000 from the tribe of Reuben,
12,000 from the tribe of Gad,
(6)12,000 from the tribe of Asher,
12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali,
12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh,
(7)12,000 from the tribe of Simeon,
12,000 from the tribe of Levi,
12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,
(8)12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun,
12,000 from the tribe of Joseph,
12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed.
