Your Favourite Kind of Rock Music?

I think it's a reason I gravitate towards instrumental music.

Probably the same for me, and I can remember being more into instrumentals even when Pop should have been a more natural interest for me when young. But I think I discovered Segovia, Jazz, and Irish Music fairly quickly, and listening to Classical music on R3. So that probably a good proportion of the music I listen to now is instrumental in some form or another.

I used to listen to goth rock for almost three years. Now, I don't listen to any kind of rock. My new favorite music is relaxing instrumental Chinese music.

Punk rock (especially hardcore), psychobilly, metal, post-punk, gothic rock (actual goth - not the stuff that's mislabeled as "goth"), psychedelic, dream pop, doom and alt rock.

I just thought this was showing he had taste - some very nice baroque stuff about.

Most rock is good to me, i like the late 60s and much of the 70s best but can quite happily listen to more modern rock. What i don't like is punk and shouty stuff
