ok....but if the zombie would do unto you as he would have it done unto himself......I have long concluded that it is profoundly anti-social to become a zombie, so I would rather not.

jumping to the next life......Neither its not that simple a question. I have both self wants but also wants for others (family and friends). A simple thing like gardening makes me need things most people couldn't care about. Life is a compromise of wants, needs and desires for Me, My family and the others that help me get what I need to survive.
Unless you live in the woods with your own live stock and garden daily and are medically trained, you need the assistance of others and thereby need to compromise with them.
jumping to the next life......
you might need to be born (as in carried or cared for)......
to learn the territory, the language and the scheme of things
having done unto you for your sake....
God and heaven might expect the same in return.....that you can walk in grace among the angelic
i have not ruled out reincarnationThanks but that's not a problem. I wish only to walk in this life. I expect God to either let me fade from existance or to allow me to be reborn to this earth.
cause and effectIt's obvious that people have no conclusive proof of anything supernatural, or they might agree upon that. But instead there have been thousands of deities created by humans over the last few hundred thousand years of homo sapiens evolution, as each human group creates it's own deity and religion. If the schools would teach anthropology, and mythology, i.e. a record of the beliefs created by humans, then we would hopefully be relieved of all these make-believe gods and goddesses. Religion is a cultural tool to achieve group identity and cohesion within a social group.......
Please tell me what proof you have, other than your 'hopes and feelings', regarding anything supernatural, and you might have an intelligent discussion......
'After death' is a fantasy. The time to treat people kindly is now.Do unto others as you would have it done unto you
most of us abide accordingly
they who have intention toward the next life.....will continue
they who make denial of spirit ....will not
but for now we seem the same
but are we?
and you are sure......no life after death'After death' is a fantasy. The time to treat people kindly is now.
It seems rather obvious: if something continues after "death," then it's not death at all.and you are sure......no life after death
and all 7billion+ copies of a learning device (Man) will end up terminal
no one survives the last breath?
not one chance in billions?
ok....It seems rather obvious: if something continues after "death," then it's not death at all.
I don't know what that means.ok....
unless the peace of heaven really IS guarded
there are several parables that end ....badly
I suspect it is possible to lose your spiritual lifeI don't know what that means.
Q: Is "your spiritual life" equal to "your conscious life"?I suspect it is possible to lose your spiritual life
and since you seem to have no belief in life after death
the loss of this life may be as far as you go
I will say yesQ: Is "your spiritual life" equal to "your conscious life"?
and if you acquire the same frame of mind as the Carpenter.....If Christians are correct and there is an afterlife and one of the most important qualities to enter this afterlife is humility. Then wouldn't it stand to reason that any person who believes they are deserving of eternal life and already has a reserved spot inside has already failed this test?
and if you acquire the same frame of mind as the Carpenter.....
does your question still work?
the whole point of His ministry was to change the way people think and feelThe "carpenter" frame of mind? Perhaps you could explain what you mean by this a little better. I'm having trouble understanding how a carpenter would view things differently.
