Yes. I’m glad that my parents gave me that kind of suffix because I really can’t stand ‘Junior.’ I’ve noticed that many other American men and boys, by the way, have Roman numerals as suffixes. I once had a teacher who was a III or IV.

Coincidentally, today, when some of my students asked me my full name, I included my suffix. One of them then asked, ‘Teacher, are you royalty?’ I answered in the negative, of course.
