Your thoughts on this parable?

Interpreting the Bible to anyone's whim is very problematic and leads to really unhealthy practices for instance:

1. Snake handling
2. Denying health benefits to the sick
3. Can lead to defending slavery

All of us need guidence with the scriptures to understand them spiritually correct.
That's why I posted (in that same post) that we need to call upon the Holy Spirit for wisdom and truth when reading Scripture. I never suggested anyone's whim.

We ALL have to be careful because human nature can be very much arrogant and selfish which leads to translating scripture as we want to see them. I'm very much in favor of study Bibles because they not only help with interpretation and translation but also help with sequence n some cases. Many times a verse can ge tied to a verse a chapter over but reading the Bible straight through its easy to miss.

Yes, we all need to be careful, which is why the Holy Spirit is always with us, to help us understand. :)

the Carpenter is my Inspiration....

the parable is about hierarchy....control....
it describes the pending situation as when approach the next life.

to those who have the ability....more shall be given...
from those that will not step forward and perform....that which they have shall be taken away....
and those who refuse to participate....cannot be allowed to interfere.

there are billions of us now....
as many have already gone before us.
if there is no One is charge (Someone with ability)
then we stand from this flesh into chaos

I believe in hierarchy.
Someone has gone before me to receive His kingdom.

as I make my approach....I carry what has been dealt in my life...
and my position in the hierarchy will be dealt in like manner
