You're a Socialist* (*almost certainly)

People in the Democratic Socialists of America, the Socialist Worker's Party, and the Socialist Party USA have argued that Bernie is not a socialist.
There is no socialist who hasn't been accused of insufficient socialism by other socialists. Questioning the socialism of others is about 50% of socialist activity. The other 50% is forming splinter groups in order to expell those who are insuffieciently socialist from whichever faction you find yourself in. ;)

"Gatekeeping" is always detrimental to a cause.

I read some say socialism is but a staging post between capitalism and communism, whilst others would say that communism is but one expression of a socialist society (albeit at the "extreme" - for want of a better word - end of the spectrum).
That's the terminology adopted by Marxist-Leninists in the Soviet Union after the Russian Civil War, if I recall correctly.
Communism in Marxist terms would be a society that had abolished class differences, money, the state etc.

As far as I know, that association was deliberate on part of the Monty Python guys. ;)
