Zen and Advaita Vedanta

I agree with the Perennial Philosophy that all religions, at the heart, their spirituality, are the same. I believe that Buddhism, and particularly Zen Buddhism, comes the closest to this "heart of religion". I've studied a little on Advaita Vedanta, and it seems to me that they share many similarities. But I want to ask Hindus and Buddhists who are familiar with these ideas: what are the major differences between the two schools?
