It was closed for one day to all. One shouldn't make more of it than the reality of why it was done. If Abbas didn't make his message to incite, then most likely it would not have happened. But he did and the Israeli military/police along with the Jordanian security needed the time to prepare for what they know was going to happen.

If a Hamas rocket hits the Dome, Israel will be the least of their problems. The Gaza Strip would be flattened by Muslim countries within hours and the Israelis will simply sit back. If you look at the trajectories of the summer situation 99.9% flew north or east. Only two came within a few miles of Jerusalem, and I guarantee you they got a stern phone call for them and possibly why Egypt in now bulldozing its border with them now.

It's totally absurd that Jews can pray in one of their holiest sites in their own country.

Lower right hand corner of a given post. Your choices are Like (sorta like Frubal's Lite) and then Quote and finally, Reply.
I don't see it on the option bar when responding to a post so you could simply do it manually with {QUOTE}message snippet{/QUOTE} just replace the { } with [ ]

It was Moshe Dayan who the major standout to not evict the Arabs as was done to the Jews in 1949. He convinced many people that the people living there would be willing to live in Peace with the Jews as they did before 1948. He didn't take into account the ones who moved there after 1948 or the people who were displaced from Israel itself and had become bitter thanks to people in the PLO.
