Zionist regime admits to have been supporting FSA against Syria

In a recent interview with Haaretz, Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said: “Israel is openly backing the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and other ‘moderate’ factions fighting the Syrian government.” The indications are that Israel has been backing all comers as part of their decision to favor terrorists over the democratically elected government of President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus.

Well, I found the title on Haaretz website but it says "The full text is available for subscribers & registered users."
And I won't pay the mouthpieces of the zionist regime, like Haaretz, in order to show you the whole text.

You can usually get around that by going to the cached version of the page or Googling the name of the article to see if it's posted elsewhere.

Thanks. And I think those who have doubts about the Iranian News Page which I provided, can do it the way you suggested them.

"Democratically elected" - only someone who cannot distinguish between real democracy and fake democracy (such as Iran or China) would write that since the real rulers decide who can be voted for. After all, in the old Soviet Union and other dictatorships, there were always "elections" which, surprise surprise, the rulers choices were validated by the people. Assad has murdered more of his own people than ISIL has (so far) and refused to allow free and fair elections to boot. He could have prevented the disaster that is Syria but refused, instead choosing to cling to power like the dictators of Iran chose to soak the country in blood to stop the will of the people (Green Revolution).

I am utterly opposed to Israel's settlement policies and "facts on the ground" but until the other states in the region accept Israel's right to exist the peoples will know war and suffering.

the democratically elected government of President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus.

I do not believe that al Assad won 88% of a 73% turnout in June of this year in a free and fair election.

Please kindly do not derail the thread with idiotic comments.

And for the jews who do not trust the abovementioned news agency, they should go to their "trustworthy" Hareetz page where Iranian media quoted it from their zionist leading figure.

Well, I think it is presumptuous to assume that only Jews don't trust the source you posted. I despise Iranian propaganda and Iran's pro-tyranny policies--both internal and external ones. It strikes me as little more than laughable that anyone would think Assad's Syria has actually ever had free presidential elections, let alone that a state of systematic oppression of minorities and abuses of human rights like Iran cares about the so-called "freedom" that Syria supposedly had under Assad's regime.

Assad's Syria has free elections. And there is no oppression on minorities. And Iran really cares about it. But US hegemony and its Kingdom/Sheikhdom allies in the region, spreading "freedom" and "democracy" through supporting "moderate" insurgents in Syria is ironic.

And as I said before, those who do not trust the source I provided, should check their own zionist sources then.
