Your new owl avatar looks inebriated.
Thank you for the winner.. I like reading your comments, it is obvious you have done a lot of research.

And you're a gall-dern, young pup, whipper-snapper! I got socks older than you!

Seriously though, yes, I've been around here for quite a while. I signed on when my kids were learning to walk and skip. Now they're heading for college. o_O
Good to see you posting again! How have you been?

Those are pretty good goals! I'm sure building stamina and learning to float will come with practice. :)

By the way, I like your thread about possession. It has drawn a nice variety of responses. I also read your own responses regarding your experience; I hope things have been much better since.

Thank you. It was a really crazy experience like nothing I've had. I think don't think the sleep deprivation I had helped though I think there was a spiritual element too.

I'm doing much better now. I know I wasn't myself during the episode and I'm now fully clothed and in my right mind. I know who I am and don't have delusions of being someone else. I'm not paranoid anymore.

It's good to hear that you've experienced so much improvement! Thanks for sharing updates on that.
I noticed that one of the exact matches for your current avatar referenced Alex Trebek. I miss him. What a great game host he was, and a good man, too.

Looking at the exact matches, I see you live in Waterloo, Iowa. The same intersection is below the article on Trebek. The Trebeck article plus the most hated intersections was on a different date in 2020.

Makes sense.
Salaam, @Pawpatrol! I hope you're liking the forum so far!

Would you be interested in being interviewed about your views, primarily on religion but also on other subjects, in RF's interview section? I would be happy to conduct the interview as part of welcoming you to the forum.

Wa alaikum asselam.
Yes, I would be happy to do that.
Hello Alea.
(can I call you that?)

I have seen you post and I am interested in a discussion with you. Have you written any papers on your research?
My particular interest is on the concept of truth as far as religions go. Naturally, after studying many religions, you would be inclined to determine a more logically correct one, right?

Hello,

You can call me anything as long as you're nice. I did actually write an essay on graduate level that I finished recently and it has been published.

I am biased but I always try to read or hear things with an open mind. I have studied all world religions, many New Age movements, and soon I will focus on Baltic paganism.

I am interested in reading your paper, what is it about?
I would like you know what your research revealed ultimately and if it in some way affected your belief or caused you to change religion. I am going start a conversation between us.
As promised in the Judaim's Core thread.

I think we discussed that already two times before. In any case, I put some information in the Orthodox Judaism DIR. You won't be able to comment in it, but you can view it at the link below.

how does this relate to redemption? Anyway I thank you for the conversation, I see it's somewhat abstruse and it makes me smile because it's all mixed up. The Bible is much easier for me to understand by means of those teaching me, as you may know I had been Jewish, my family basically is still Jewish, they have no real hope of anything, many of my family were killed in the Holocaust.

I look forward to what Rambam taught about a resurrection. When Adam & Eve sinned against the Almighty God, the whole human race lost the ability to live forever -- until, of course, sin is taken away and God blesses the whole earth. Shalom, and thank you for conversation -- :) P.S. You don't have to believe that -- I do, and I believe God will show His strength.
