"THE LORD'S DAY IS THE SABBATH DAY NOT SUNDAY ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURES

I answered. You didn't like my answers.

Analogy? Where? (Don't run away!)

Sweet irony! I understand you very well, SZ. And if you ever do answer my questions (see #1312) I can assure you that I will understand them, unless they are garbled, as is your wont.
But wait!! This is not another excuse I see before me?!? Surely not! Are you really saying that I will not understand, so you don't have to answer? What a truly pathetic excuse!

When people do what properly, SZ? Dance to your tune?
Ask you questions you understand and are able to answer?
:D
Try again. See if you can ask questions properly. Here is a hint. There is no excuse to break up a short post. You can answer the whole thing rather than trying to quote out of context.

By the way, one could even say that refusing to debate properly is a form of running away. I have always offered polite discourse. You seem to have a problem with that.

Yep but this is about what the scriptures actually say not commentators. There is no scripture in all the bible that links Revelation 1:10 to Sunday. So unless that can be proven from he scriptures it is only opinion. In fact the so called Scholars on this do not even agree. So if there is no scripture to support a Sunday view than it is only a man-made tradition and teaching unsupported by the scriptures. Especially when the scriptures alone state Gods' ownership to the day that Jesus is Lord over is the Sabbath day in Matthew 12:8.
So let me ask you a question, please. Do you believe this means that Jesus is Lord over the Sabbath day one day a week?

Yea nice to see others noticing all the projecting and deflecting with false claims and accusations he and his acolyte are unable to prove. Good for you sis. :)
That is odd. Then why did your run away for so many posts. The actions of you two refute your claims here.

Do you want to start a serious discussion or are you just going to run away again?

SZ, I have yet to see any 'debate' in this forum in which you play a part. But maybe I'm missing something; can you help?
Do you seriously think that was polite? It wasn't it had a false assumption built into it.

If I asked "Are you still beating your husband? Please answer yes or no." That question has a false assumption in it. It is improper. There is no way that you could miss the other threads that I have posted in.

And since you want me to ask questions: Do you believe the Noah's Ark story? If so what is your version. How do you interpret it?

LOL! You still can't be polite. And running away was explained to you. You had no response to it when the explanation was given. But then you know by any reasonable standards I am not the one running away here.

Once again, refusing to debate properly is a form of running away.

Your projecting and deflecting gets boring after a while SZ prove your false claims and accusations. If you cannot than what do you have? - Nothing but false claims and accusations accusing others of exactly what you do because your unable to respond to address the post content that is in disagreement with you. So lets talk more when you have something to add to the discussion and stop making false claims and running away when asked to prove yourself. Everyone can now see it. So it is not working for you anymore

Ask Jesus sis....

What day is the Lords Day?
  • Matthew 12:8 8, For THE SON OF MEN IS LORD OF THE SABBATH DAY.
The Sabbath is the Lords day.

To me the context is clear. When Jesus said he is Lord of the Sabbath, he did not mean he was Lord only on the Sabbath Day which some may consider that means he is Lord of one day of the week. He was accused of breaking the Sabbath as observed by men's laws. So a reasonable question is if you believe the other 6 days of the week he is not Lord. OK, if you think John's vision means Jesus is Lord one day of the week, honest -- It's like saying that a king is king one day of the week, the other days he's not a king. (Have a nice day, hope things go well with you.)

But I made none. How many times did I have to remind you of 1 Peter 3 15 before you finally tired to answer? And then you still could not follow it. You are either using words that you do not understand or making false accusations that appear to only apply to you. You ran away, hundreds of times. Your use of improper debating techniques does not mean that your opponent ran away. In fact I kept explaining to you why your technique was wrong. Did you change? No.

There was nothing that you posted to run away from. Once again, I know that you take a while to respond to new ideas:

Link, quote, explain. If you do not do all three when trying to refer to old debates then you have just wasted your time and lost again.

Jesus says He is Lord of the Sabbath day sis. It does not get any clearer than that (Matthew 12:8). There is no scripture linking "the Lords day" of Revelation 1:10 to Sunday worship. This is simply a man-made teaching and tradition that is unsupported in the bible.

Please forgive me dear friend. You have lost all credibility with me with your dishonest posts and deflection. Others can see this as well so we will agree to disagree. Lets chat more when you can prove your self and have something to contribute to the discussion. Take Care.

I never said it means he (Jesus) is Lord of Sunday worship. But then I repeat that Jesus is not Lord one day of the week only either. Do you think he is?

You might fool one person here. You are still running away from an offer of a polite discussion. Yes, others can see that you would not debate properly even after what you were doing wrong was repeatedly explained to you. Others could see you running away from questions in over a hundred posts.

Can you debate politely? So far you have failed. Can you debate properly? Remember, link, quote, explain. So far you have failed at that too.

You do not seem to realize that it is degrading the Bible to treat it as a piece of fanfiction.

Sorry dear friend your deflecting again and your posts are not truthful and dishonest. There is more than one person that can see that you are not interested in a discussion here and that you simply do not respond to post and scripture content that is in disagreement with you like your acolyte does. You respond to others with deflection and false claims and accusations of things you do while you cannot prove your false claims and accusations against others and when challenged and simply run away from the discussion not wanting to discuss your claims, so we will agree to disagree. Lets chat more when you can prove your self and have something to contribute to the discussion. It was fun before watching you dig a hole for yourself so others could see it, but its become a little boring now as all your posts have not changed even after more than one person has offered to help you. So take care dear friend :)

No you didn't say that sis. Sorry if that was what you were thinking I was saying. I posted that because most of Christianity teaches "the Lords day" is Sunday despite there being no scripture to support this view. As posted earlier we should believe the words of Jesus and the bible over the teachings and traditions of men that lead us to break the commandments of God against the very warning of Jesus in Matthew 15:3-9. Jesus not me says he is the Lord of the Sabbath day in Matthew 12:8. These are His Words not mine. The Sabbath day therefore according to the scriptures is "the Lords day".

Take Care.

And yet I am the only one that has supported his claims properly and you are back to running away again.

How many times have I asked you if you wanted to have an honest discussion? Everyone can see me making a reasonable proposal, and everyone can see you running away.

You have no grounds on which to accuse someone of being dishonest. So they disagree with you? Then tell them they are mistake and why. But don't accuse them of deceit.
