  • Thanks for the frubal and for reading it.
I hate that sometimes you have you start your posts with "Jesus is a ****" to get people to reply.
    So thanks :)
It is natural, even to be expected. But it is also difficult to predict or to deal with. Brazilian culture is very passional and almost inimical to reason.
Yes, it got. And it is a bit surprising, really.

The actual reasons of the disturbances are not IMO easy to understand. Mostly they seem to be a reaction to a feeling of irrelevancy to their own lives. A well-grounded feeling.
Well if you acquire a bit of knowledge about Arabic you can easily decipher the fact that the q used at the end is actually used to simulate the kh sound as the result of the qaf/ق at the end which is transliterated as q but phonetically produces the similitude of kh. This is done so one will not be confused with the letter kaf/ك which produces the K sound but with no pharyngeal emphasis.

I consider myself a "Zindikh" Muslim to some regard as my Islamic residue is obvious. But overall I find it better to construct my own understanding instead of clinging to a book hence my creation of Nexusism (I will declare prophethood in my mid 30's for the hell of it ;))
Zindikh must be what you are using as a title because it is Arabic for Heretic. Nexus is a Latin work for connected and is my core philosophy and theological viewpoint. I have constructed a lengthy set of articles about it.
Are you forgetting to take your memory pills ? It was for the Edward Snowden thread. You are doing good work there, providing more detail. Thanks.
The only downside is the cost. It's expensive. The cheapest I ever came across when I was looking for a replacement after I lost my copy in a fire was $65. Good luck! I'll try to weed out other sources that can help you in your research. :)
Ah, okay. Awesome. I would definitely recommend Bartenieff's work, as it encompasses all that you're looking for. She describes Laban Movement Analysis extremely well in it's observational and notation methods in regards to movement's role in communication, and even how we differentiate when it comes to age and culture. It's a brilliant work, and no wonder why it was THE textbook for us in the certificate program.

Body Movement: Coping with the Environment: Irmgard Bartenieff, Dori Lewis: 9780677055008: Amazon.com: Books
I wrote my thesis on body movement in college basketball and defensive strategies. My argument was that many skill sets that are considered "natural", that can't be coached, ARE in fact coachable. They may take longer to master for those whose movement patterning favor other phrasing than the one required, but re-patterning movement to include skill sets people assume to be "natural" is not only possible but do-able.

I have it, and it's archived in the NYC Laban/Bartenieff Institute library. But if you're interested, I can see if I can scan it and send it to you.

Some supplemental works are "Taking Root to Fly" by Irene Dowd and "Coping with the Environment" by Irmgard Bartenieff. Dowd's work is more personal and less of a dry academic reading than Bartenieff's work. So that's why I offered them as suggestions because they cover the range of writing style in relating movement analysis.

Let me know what else I can offer. :)
