• Hahaha, thanks for sharing :D
I didn't understand what Hinmat Singh ji said though. Is he scolding those who have bad experiences? :D
Hehehe, we have many Sikh temples here, but not many near me since I don't have a car and have to travel everywhere on foot or by bus :D I'll tell you the location next time I see you on messenger or by PM :)

I don't know the connection between Sikhism and Diwali, please tell me! :)

Satnam :D
I have no idea! :( We have so many Sikhi in this city, too. My city is 14% ~ 15% Sikh, I believe :D

I think maybe they don't trust me because in my city, it's very poor, and there are a lot of people who dislike people because of their skin. Maybe they judged me too soon?

A few people were surprised at me for being there, though. Especially when I knew where to take my shoes off and wash my hands, etc :D
:( No!
I only went to pray, and I took karah parshad, but nobody attempted to talk to me again. :( I decided I did not have time to go to the langar since I was with my wife and she was meeting me again (I spent 30 minutes in the room with the Guru, and my wife was coming to meet me again in 30 minutes :D) so I did not eat there this time. :)
Sat Sri Akaal, Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh!

What's new Gursikh ji? :)
I went to Gurdwara on Diwali my friend!! :D
Excellent! Thank you for sharing it with me :D
Who took these photos? You, or another? :)
Gursikh ji!

Thanks for explaining. :D

I can only use a special type of comb, like an afro comb when my hair is dry :D
My wife studied hairdressing, and said if I used the kanga (I showed her this picture)

That it would knot my hair except if it was wet and did not have any knots or tangles in it. I would also have to start at the bottom because of my hair. :D

What medical reasons can a person have their hair cut? Allergy, accident, etc? :)

I will have to find an old photo of me and I can show you my hair. I will PM it you because it's embarassing! :D

Sat nam :D

Oh! Also, when reading Sri Guru Granth Sahib, when there is an "u" mark on the last letter, for example, in these words:
ੴ ਸਤਿ << ਨਾਮੁ >> ਕਰਤਾ << ਪੁਰਖੁ >> ਨਿਰਭਉ << ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ >> ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
Do you read it?
Because the transliteration says "Sat nam karta purakh" instead of Sat namu purakhu?

Sorry to ask you so many questions!
Waheguru ji ki khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh! :)

By the way, sorry about the formatting! It keeps telling me I am writing in BB font! :sarcastic
Gursikh ji!
I have many questions about kesh and curly hair. :D

See, I have curly hair. Very, very, very curly. :D
I cannot use a comb, I must use a hairbrush. Could I use a hairbrush as opposed to a comb if I kept kesh? And putting my hair in a turban may make it damaged (the rishi knot or something?)?

Do Sikhs have to comb their beards too? (Sounds strange to ask :D)

If someone had an allergy to their beards, could they avoid growing a beard?
Can one have split ends/damaged hair cut, or can they have to have an operation or something to save themselves if they have taken Amrit?

Sorry to ask you so many questions all in one go! :D

Satnam
- Carl :D
Haha, it's ok :)
I saw it on a video "Sikh Channel" at my parent's house before, and I liked the lyrics a lot.

Who is the singer of Separation? Is he famous? :)

I saw some pictures of the langar of the Golden Temple. It was very interesting! I like how people sit on the floor. At the local gurdwara here, people sit on tables though. Is it common?

I would like to go to one of the gurdwaras again. Can you suggest some things to do? Such as, do I give a donation? How, where? etc :)
Gursikh ji!
Can you please see if you can find me a Gurbani on Youtube?

It has the following section, from page 13 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

Sahas ṯav nain nan nain hėh ṯohi ka▫o sahas mūraṯ nanā ek ṯohī.
You have thousands of eyes, and yet You have no eyes. You have thousands of forms, and yet You do not have even one.
