That's interesting that you were able to discuss your intentions without wanting specifically to talk about "what you meant." (*nudge nudge*).....I think as artists we do have a tendency to go from some sensory experience that either disturbed us or inspired us and attempt to put that experience on our canvas wondering how our lens is used as a magnifying glass or a filter for others. See, when you brought up the repeating sections as a marker for cyclical emotions, I didn't catch that when i listened to it, but I can see your intent now. How you layered your elements is what emotionally lead me to expanding my scope in that "mirror" I described. What's also noteworthy is the end, that even though the score diminishes, I still felt expanded and not lead back to my limited and narrow personal view. In a way, it was as if the outer world became that mirror of my inner world. Like taking off the mask, and seeing how much alike I am to what I see around me.
