  • Good point. :clap

Because I'm in such a good mood, I'm smiling right now imagining where your mouth is on a very particular part of my body.
You are compassionate. Very much so. But don't let that get to your head now, because you overdo on your sarcasm and not all your jokes are that funny. :p

I don't blame you about your disgust toward dancer's feet - ours really are the worst in the world as evidenced by the tattered and scuffled remains of our shoes - so I'll keep it in mind for another time when I want to make you truly suffer.

I really don't deserve that Kindness Award, do I?
I'll definitely let you know, babe. It's no-nonsense, honest, authentic, wise and compassionate people like you that I want in my circle helping out. It hasn't happened yet, but it's getting closer to the point where I can practically smell the ribbon I'm going to cut at the grand opening.

And knowing me, I'll still probably spend too much time here "recuperating" and being silly. Heck, if I were as good a boss as I plan on being, I'd fire me.

BTW, you got something against licking my shoes?
I also said that I'll be needing as much as help as possible getting my studio off the ground, thanked them for their time, walked away from the mic, and was immediately surrounded by a large group of Chamber members wanting me to give them business - printing, accounting, legal representation, loan officers, real estate developers, you name it - to assist in my goals.

So, I came home and called Steve while he was out meeting up with one of his buddies and bursted with enthusiasm on the phone. He listened for a bit, and said "It's about damn time you got out there. I've been waiting ten years for you to do exactly what you just did tonight." :p
    LOL Thanks! It certainly was.

I'll be talking with the Executive Director of the CoC next week, and I should be sitting down with a couple of loan officers next week, too. So this weekend will be spent brushing up on my business plan with the notes and feedback I've received (yours included :) ).

I let the Chamber members know in no uncertain way that my dedication is toward cultivating local talent into marketable performers and artists. That the studio's goal is ensuring there is no large learning gap once they move from the midwest to NYC or LA, but preferably that there shouldn't be such a pressing need to move from the midwest, and that I'm also pressing for arts advocacy and opportunity here.
I chose not to flash. Introduced myself officially with a mic in hand and bubbling with enthusiasm. Got a buttload of business cards and even ran into an old friend (small world). Will update more tomorrow. :)
It's a Chamber function where I'll be given the opportunity to introduce myself officially to a lot of the other members. I told one of the ambassadors that I'd probably do that anyway without being asked (again she laughed, so I think they understand me, which is good). I'm thinking about flashing them at the podium. What do you think?
How've you been, babe? Today is way too hot to do anything useful, but I'm going to schmooze with people anyway in a few hours.
    You're a Mystic-junkie now? Ah, crap......

I was in a good mood today until I read that. Just enjoy the moment, you silly silly man. *smack!*
I don't think you got enough sleep last night. I think I'll just carry you to the couch, throw you on it, and say, "Go take a nap" like my son did for me yesterday. :p
Wit? Yes. It turns me on.

    Charm? Sometimes.

Substance? Absolutely. That turns me on the most.

I just gave you part of the step by step instructions to raising your chances of getting in my pants. If you don't get it after this, then you're positively hopeless.

(BTW, that's what I'd tell guys when they'd try to do the cheesy pick up lines. LOL)
Yeah me too. I have the worst time chatting through small mobile Internet devices, and the laptop is now shared with the kids home. I don't get as many opportunities as I did before because I want them to use the computer as well.

    Fwiw, you're an ***. *smack!*

Now for the umpteenth time, stop following me!
