Sounds like a pretty diverse mix.
For quality of writing style I'd also recommend Terry Pratchett: even though his novels are fantasy-spoof, and tend towards the silly, his writing style is so smooth, his descriptives so imaginative and inventive, and his way of resolving situations so credible (within their context) and unexpected that I'd put him at the top of any fantasy authors list. Also R.E. Howard (creator of Conan the Barbarian): this guy basically invented the genre.
