  • I have friends who live in Belgium and they are totally sick of the political climate in the EU. They want desperately to move to the US but it's very complicated to try to move a family here. Besides that, I have news for them - we're right behind the EU and should "catch up" in a matter of a decade or less. So it's hardly worth their trouble.

Chin up! And have a great weekend.
hi :) i think i am starting fasting tomorrow. it would end at the beginning of January. looong time...i am little scared and also excited. how are things going in your life? i hope everything is OK.
I believe you are undergoing an exciting special time :D
May Allah be your companion Stephen :)
Salam brother, how are you? Hope you are doing well!
I wish you all the best :)
brothe stephen here are a few hadiths that speak of the matter about men looking like women and vise versa.

1631. Ibn 'Abbas said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, cursed effeminate men and masculine women." In one variant, "The Messenger of Allah cursed men who made themselves look like women and women who made themselves look like men."
1632. Abu Hurayra said, "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, cursed any man who wears women's clothes and any woman who wears men's clothes."
    Wow, that's really cool :D
Glad she's able to make up her own mind! It seems as though many people I meet, they go "ugh!" to it. :(
Wow, it's great for you to have such a supportive wife! Many people may be unsupportive of their partners converting to Islam because of its negative portrayal in the media, so it's great that your wife is accepting :)

It might be a good thing if you never talk about religion then :D If I were to ever convert to Islam, for example, my brother would freak out majorly as he's a very religious Christian living in America!
No problem :) Have you told anyone in your family? Wife, parents, anything like that?
Hehe, I would be too - to be diving into a faith after being uncertain is a tricky thing! I think you'll enjoy it though :)
