Interesting. Wikipedia also says that Pandeism can also be used to describe the belief that God(the Universe) is not a being so is not intelligible. Life is the way for it to understand itself. Very interesting. Carl Sagan said something similar to that.
I was just reading the "You might be a Deist" thread and I had a few questions. I will start off with one: do Deists necessarily believe that God is a personal being? Can it be a system? What I mean is, can God be the whole of the processes of the Universe? Kind of how the Gaia theory states that the Earth is basically a self regulating system or organism? Do some Deists believe that the the Universe/Nature= God?
