God and his hatred of homosexuality

Do you really think someone went "hmm let's try sex with a guy instead of a girl" and then got addicted to it? Do you, if you're straight, honestly think you could try it and get addicted?

Can a gay person be a "good" Christian?

Well that's not very fair, is it? May I assume you're straight? What if, as a teenager of say, 14, you were told that to be a good christian you had to NEVER have sex your whole life ever? Just "burn with passion" forever and ever?

Can a gay person be a "good" Christian?

So, gay christians are forced to be celibate? (When I say forced, I mean if they want to be 'good' Christians)

Could you please answer this then? I'm genuinely curious. What if a believer is gay, sincerely wants to please God, is he stuck in celibacy?

God and his hatred of homosexuality

That's great and all, but what of a believer who is gay but wants to obey God? Is he stuck being celibate his whole life?

God and his hatred of homosexuality

But if I want to be close to God I have to be celibate?

God and his hatred of homosexuality

That sounds like a bum deal to me. Not very fair is it? You say that straight people (and bisexuals) have to deal with lust and fornication and all that. Fine. But they aren't forced to be virgins THEIR WHOLE LIFE. Why must a believer who happens to be gay be put under this crushing burden?
