Surprised by Joy -- deep emotional reactions to music

'Helvegen' by Wardruna is like a hymn to me. Transports me on the Valkyrie's wings to Valhalla every time! I've been getting quite deep into Norse music over the last couple of years and it absolutely touches my soul.

I don't have friends, unless you count.

Yes! When my dogs were alive, I would use them as an excuse to leave a social event. "Sorry, got to go and let my dogs out". Can't use that line anymore, so I just don't go. I could always pretend that I've got a new dog, though (or I could just actually get a new dog).

    Hello

Hi and thanks for the question. To me, spirituality is the way in which we relate to the world but in a way that goes deeper than just the superficial day-to-day interactions with it. It's a search for meaning, I suppose, and I get that meaning and sense of sacredness and purpose from being out...

    Hello

Good morning, all. Glad to be part of this community. I'm an atheist, but have strong pantheist leanings in that I see Nature and the Universe as the source of my spirituality.
