    I want to believe

Of course He will help but usually not in the way of direct help (although that certainly can happen). The reason to turn to God in times of need is for understanding and comfort and realizing that God is going to go through your trouble with you and that He knows your doubts and pain. I don’t...

    I want to believe

God is still there but it sounds like you are basing your belief on your feelings rather than faith. I don’t know of any Christians that do not feel bleak or sad or depressed at times but when that happens that is when we turn to prayer and remember that God said He will never leave us even in...

Do you believe the Bible is God's word?

Well that’s like discussing the best team in the NFL with someone who doesn’t watch football.

Do you believe the Bible is God's word?

Murder and killing are two different things clearly defined in the Bible. Murder is the taking of life without cause but God did what He did for a reason. “God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day. If [man] does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow...

Do you believe the Bible is God's word?

Murder is not possible for God, that is a human concept. Are you a mass murderer when you spray an ant hill with raid and kill them by the thousands? We are more related to ants than we are to God.

Do you believe the Bible is God's word?

Nope. Much of it can be interpreted differently yet the main points are extremely clear which shows us the parts God considers the most important. All of us are born with sin or that salvation through Christ are very clear while issues like the importance of baptism are not.

The sins of the father: collective punishment

I don’t believe that is what the Bible is saying. It’s describing the effects of sins on others as you mentioned.

The sins of the father: collective punishment

Notice that the "son shall not bear the iniquity of the father", and vice versa. You cannot inherit another person's sin, because you didn't do it. If your mother is an alcoholic, and gives birth to you, those sins are not in any way imputed to the child. The child is 100% innocent, and...

The trinity is false - I have proof

I’m sorry you are confused about the Trinity. Many of us are not. Perhaps the error lies with you?

Do you believe the Bible is God's word?

Yes it is God’s word. It is written exactly how He wanted it to be written.

Most Religions Believe In An Afterlife

I didn’t say it was conclusive evidence. I merely stated that there is something that occurs after death. Perhaps it is just the brain but perhaps not.

Most Religions Believe In An Afterlife

Well there is some evidence in the form of near death experiences that is people who have been clinically dead and were brought back sometimes after minutes of death. Out of those that have spoken about their experience I am not aware of anyone that says they didn’t see or feel that there was...

Those Who Saw Miracles But Didn’t Believe

I’ve seen God work miracles in my life but as humans we have a tendency to get wrapped up in the everyday normal routines and that miracle we saw slowly begins to fade as we move along until it’s simply forgotten for the most part. It takes a lot of work and dedication to be a solid Christian...

Are humans only the larval stage?

We will have to see what evolution has in store for us but we definitely will change into something else. We will be colonizing planets pretty quick (in evolutionary terms) so I imagine that will play a role in our change, lower gravity or whatnot. None of us will be here to see it of course...

Why is wicca so popular religion?

I know two girls who are into it but it’s more because it sounds cool than anything to do with practicing a religion. They go to some sort of meeting once in awhile but that’s it.

    Closeted Chosen Ones

Probably not that many since it’s a mental problem and out of all the possible mental conditions I would think that particular one would be a very small percentage. Most people that think they are the chosen one like to make it known in some way or another.

He Was With God In The Beginning

That is the common understanding yes.

    Why Turn Water Into Wine?

It probably wasn’t wine but did turn red or some other strange color. Some documentaries explained it as possibly clay seeping into the river among other things but it was still done by God. Those writing about it might just have assumed it was wine. If I had to guess I’d say most miracles had...

I Could Be An Atheist At The Drop Of A Hat

I know quite a few people that seemed to be strong Christians but walked away from it. I can see how it would be easy to quit working on your faith and start forgetting about it. possibly
