That old something from nothing theory is a load of garbage in my opinion. The same scientists that say the big bang started from nothing also claim the big bang released huge amounts of energy that we can still trace.
Well that violates your own law of energy that can not be created or...
I see what you did there!
However, that applies only ot the written law unless you want to assume if we had never discovered and written about gravity there would be no gravity. Since we know the earth was around and animals existed and did not float off in to space before man existed I think...
"a lot of the answers to questions are simply unknown."
The laws of science were once unknown. Only someone seeking knowledge will get knowledge. Seems to also be a law of nature.
You could start by just answering the questions in the OP without worrying whether it is right or wrong or if you...
You can answer the question with your own science if you do not want a creation perspective but remember this is a forum for both to discuss their positions.
Don't be afraid to challenge your own beliefs!
If you can be respectful I will respond to you!
Saying there was nothing and then there is something does not answer the question as if the laws did not exist nothing would remain nothing.
Evidence from observing the universe shows the laws existed before and are the impetus for the creation...
" they exist and there simply is no indication that some deity/deities made them."
Maybe the law is an indication though it may not involve a religious
deity.
Why do elements have different reactions since they all came from the same source?
BEN STEIN: What do you think is the possibility that Intelligent Design might turn out to be the answer to some issues in genetics or in evolution?
DAWKINS: Well, it could come about in the following way. It could be that at some earlier time, somewhere in the universe, a civilization evolved...
Thanks!
I do have a general hypothesis and I am building up to that with these discussions. First I have to get people over their phobia of Intelligent Design so they can see things objectively.
Here again all I can say is the science laws exist and seem to exist for a reason. If that is consciousness or the result of consciousness I do not know.
Stick around and read my other discussions. I am building up to that answer but first I must lay the ground work and get people past their phobia of Intelligent Design.
"What we don't have evidence of is intelligent design being used to start or shape life."
Yes we do have that evidence. Through cloning gene manipulation we can start completely new organisms with traits not present in either parent.
You are under the misunderstanding that Intelligent Design...
I started another discussion for that question:

the theory that life, or the universe, cannot have arisen by chance and was designed and created by some intelligent entity.
No mention of God in that definition and creationism is not Intelligent Design.
