Muhammad was not a jester, his purpose was not to make people laugh. You seem to giving off an "I'm so awesome" aura as well, which seems rather arrogant, which does not sit hand-in-hand with humility. I also sense troll attributes.- Muhktar

The weight of good against bad.
What is it you believe in regards to this? If you don't mind me asking. I'm not as learned in Christianity as I am Islam however I did believe Christians also had their place in heaven determined as Muslims did, forgive me if I am wrong but it was just my perception.- Muhktar

Yes good answer, balance is necessary in my opionion. But i believe it has to be done the right way. I will balance my entertainment and leisure with a good movie or book, rather than drinking. For Abrahamic religions: we know how when the day of judgement comes, we will be judged by our good deeds and bad deeds, entering paradise if the good outweighs the bad. The way that I see it, everything has a good side and bad side. Drugs which are intoxicating do have their uses depending on the individual drug and circumstances etc, however the bad of these, in my opinion, outweighs the good. Very good answer eselam. Allah (swt) did not say "intoxicants are prohibited UNLESS you are unwell and they would help", no He said they were completely forbidden along with oyher haraam such as gambling. In short I guess, no it is not permitted in Islam to smoke cannabis medicinally. -
