Though maybe that's a form of a simulation as well because there is no world out there just a brain getting apparent sensory data - due to blind chance.....
The following thread is about why we don't find any signs of intelligent life elsewhere (or even any other life at all)

My simulation based explanation is:
So if you made an exact clone of the earth a few billion years ago and randomised things around a lot would humans still evolve again and at the same time?
Brutal Bible Bloodbaths is now available on Steam Early Access. It has a ridiculous amount of blood though otherwise the graphics are like Minecraft since they are not very realistic.

It is based on Deuteronomy 20:16-20 - and...
Though if you keep on going east on a globe you will end up in the west.... that's related to:
Psalm 103:12
"as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us"
(though on a globe the east and the west end up having zero distance from each other)
Ok I see your point about the capital E. Though I think when it talks about the circle of the earth or circle of the dirt it is talking about the shape of all of the dirt.
Genesis 2 says Eden is connected to four rivers that would be from the everyday world. I don't think it was in another dimension like heaven or Narnia. YECs say that you can't find it today due to a global flood.
No it means "Only the high priest was permitted to pass beyond this veil once each...
I thought earth meant "Israel"??? So now are you saying that "God created the heavens and the earth" means God created dirt or ground? Do you have any reputable sources saying this? I mean books or a website, etc? Or did you invent this?
So the whole world/earth wasn't created at once - only a...
Bible translations are supposed to use the most accurate language possible. Are you saying that every instance of "Earth" (or world?) in the Bible actually means "Israel"?
So are you claiming that Genesis 1 is talking about Israel even though Abraham hadn't been born yet? Do you have any...
Exodus 20:11 says "he rested on the seventh day" not that "he is still resting on the seventh day". Also the Bible mentions miracles happening after Genesis 1 which also suggests God is no longer resting.
But what does evening and morning mean? With literal days it would mean sunset and sunrise (and a similar in-between state of the light before day 4). I have no idea what it would mean in a non-literal sense....
Yes it seems to be clearly saying that the sun and moon would no longer be needed.
Surely God is capable of having the initial light and the sun have identical day-night cycles....
I talked about this in my first post:
Revelation 21:23
The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
Revelation 22:5
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the...
I think before day 4 God provided the light - similar to Revelation but initially turning on and off or moving away from the earth during the day and night. If light without the sun is impossible then are you saying that Relevation isn't true either?
Genesis 22:17, Jeremiah 33:22, and Hebrews 11:12 talk about the number of stars in the sky being roughly the same as the grains of sand on the seashore - which is roughly true even though the naked eye can only see several thousand stars in the sky. Though it also says that this number is the...
Perhaps it could mean "For in the creation poem, God made the heavens and the earth, etc, in six days". Though I believe that the whole story is not true.
It looks like Answers in Genesis (YECs) also say that Adam and Eve were created on day 6....
https://answersingenesis.org/adam-and-eve/eves-birth-certificate/
But then God rested for a day....
If the tree of life (which can grant people immortality) was created on day 3 I think they should have mentioned it in Genesis 1... though I guess I don't have a strong argument for that.
Actually I'm saying that it fits very well with the poetic "framework interpretation"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Framework_interpretation
I'm not aware of any issues with that. Though I think the young earth creationist belief fits pretty well too.
This is from post #146
It seems the order in Genesis 1 isn't compatible with the long day-age theory based on science... another non-literal interpretation is that it is poetic (with two "triads" - see the opening post) and that the order doesn't have anything to do with historical reality.
