    Trolleybuses versus trams

With electric buses becoming common place, trolley buses are a bit like a fax machine.

    Trolleybuses versus trams

I'm a great advocate for trams, living in Manchester (UK) where we have a good modern system.

A 2 Islands Experiment - a thought experiment opinion question about which US political party would perform better

I thought it was asking for opinions. And where you live is irrelevant. There were no "only US citizens may answer" riders

    Question on Time

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I recall being taught that there used to be 10 months and July & August were added by the Romans, named after Julius and Augustus. It makes sense because September should be the 7th month, similarly October, November and December should be 8th, 9th & 10th months.

    Great News for the UK

Almost half the rail companies are already in public ownership, costs still go up. It was an easy win to raise fuel costs. A green policy too.

    Great News for the UK

But they put costs on passengers on trains. An inflation based rise would raise money.

    Name Calling Doesn’t Work

Agree totally, although the anti Harris bias is disturbing. Trump has constantly name called; Harris occasionally, Biden isn't running. But to read the article you would think that both sides are as bad. Can I also add purposely calling people's names wrong.

Congratulations to Britain and Keir Starmers Labour party

I am not a Labour supporter, I vote tactically, so at the last election, I voted Labour. My council elections I vote Lib Dem or Green. So, post as much anti-Labour rants as you want, I don't care.

Does your family and offline friends know who you are voting for?

Regrettable, to an extent, but they showed their true colours, I still see them but they are not on my A-list.

Does your family and offline friends know who you are voting for?

Most of my family and close family members are of a similar political stance as myself. I've fallen out with friends over politics, especially Brexit.

Congratulations to Britain and Keir Starmers Labour party

The same reason you wanted me to get behind a referendum result that has caused harm to the elderly, caused stagnation and overspending and cost to date c£140bn

Congratulations to Britain and Keir Starmers Labour party

Less than 4-months in, with a crashed economy inherited, you are writing them off. I remember you saying something like, "Brexit has happened, stop opposing it and get behind it, support it." The General Election has happened, Labour won, stop opposing it, get behind them. You can't have it...

Congratulations to Britain and Keir Starmers Labour party

Queer Kier, Ed Minibrain - you can tell your argument is weak when all you can do is call people name - very Trump like and pathetic.

Congratulations to Britain and Keir Starmers Labour party

Now you're into the "It is not my side's fault" nonsense.
