    Can God Defy Logic?

I think the provable, the unprovable and the logical paradox make a threesome with God that He uses all together.

Monthly Torah pattern focused at its beginning

The B=0 was Joseph Smith's statement and the number fits in with the other numbers.

Monthly Torah pattern focused at its beginning

Why, do you think that invalidates my finding somehow? I think this finding shows that the Torah is flexible, but when you go away it is harder to understand. Also, those numbers that matched up with 13,14 and 27 were remarkable to link them.

Monthly Torah pattern focused at its beginning

No. I endorse none of that. My patterns do not tell people what to do, nor which God to believe. However, they are highly convincing of a higher power and vibe well with Joseph Smith's claim that the Torah started with the R by often working either starting with the B or the R. I do not talk...

Monthly Torah pattern focused at its beginning

This one is by me except where mentioned (B=2 row) and works with the first letter of the Torah being different values of B or R (relating them in fact; Joseph Smith said R). Taking different values for the first letter in the first verse B (I know they sometimes do 2000), adding up the words in...

Should I read, "Why the Jews rejected Jesus?"

I've studied some things a lot so if the book tends to convince a lot of people it may still not have the same effect on me.

Should I read, "Why the Jews rejected Jesus?"

I got the book in the mail today. I can see that it's serious about showing the Jewish perspective on rejecting Jesus and not the Messianic Jews. It could get heavy. If I can handle it, I'll try to read through it and then we can have a discussion. (I am reading so many books it will take a...

Should I read, "Why the Jews rejected Jesus?"

I'll try to remember to post it under the name of the book.

Should I read, "Why the Jews rejected Jesus?"

OK I bought it. I hope to remain a Christian.

Should I read, "Why the Jews rejected Jesus?"

I wanted to inform myself on the issue, but the author is from the Discovery Institute so its a no go.

    Free will deniers

Someone on this thread said that "free will" was "free:" able to do something and "will": wanting to do it. Although I believe in consciousness, I still don't believe in wanting to do something, so I still don't believe in that.

Which sacred texts of your own and other traditions have you studied?

I noticed that in "Guardians of the Galaxy 3," Rocket put the wrong shoe on first.

We would have defaulted no thanks to Biden

Well, they had to work out a deal that would pass. Joe Biden is good at bipartisan negotiation, I'm just saying he risked waiting dangerously too long in what actually happened.

We would have defaulted no thanks to Biden

Because a bipartisan deal was better and Biden waited dangerously too long to get it going.

We would have defaulted no thanks to Biden

OK first of all I'm not a Republican parrot. I am centrist and this bill was good in the good ways of each party. I think Biden has done a great job over all. Second, McCarthy asked Biden to speak with him sooner and he wouldn't.

We would have defaulted no thanks to Biden

Friday of last month we were told the debt could default on June 1. They came up with a deal that day. They printed it the next. The house had to have 72 hours to look at it. The house voted in one day. The senate voted in one day, without sending it back to the house. It takes at least one day...

    Free will deniers

Thank you. Now I can believe in "free will."

    Free will deniers

The Beastie Boys said, "Times an illusion as the moments breeze by, too fast to really grasp though we may try," in Hello Nasty.
