    If Islam was a religion of violence and aggression, I will be the first one to abandon it. all the verses that seem violent should be read carefully and taking into account the context of it. those verses are History and were revealed at a certain events and not to be as general rules

    Quran 3:151 is talking about battle of Badr during the fighting, God promised the believers that He will insteel fear in the hearts of the enemy, so where is the violence here? also note that on this battle, the people of Quraish came out and attacked the Muslims

    I don't have a problem when people say Muslims are doing violent acts, my real problem is when they say Islam is a religion of violence. I agree those who do that should be corrected/fought and educate them about their own religion
