Oh my... It wasn't a pic of Nazi Muppets but a pic of Statler and Waldorf dressed as Adama and Tigh. I guess the crew of the Battlestar Galactica kinda look Nazi-ish...
Nazi Muppets. I'd watch it.
Yeah sure you bleeding heart apologists. This time it's a paring knife, next time it's a cheese slicer then an apple peeler! Before you know it she's coming to school strapped into a suicide bomb vest....
Anyway... As far as the dating issue the fossils were dated based on stratigraphic placement. The teeth have also been X-ray'd and CT scanned.
Here's their chart for the fossil's range of similarity to Homo sapiens: the black circle is the Qesem fossil in contrast to the dentition from...
Watched Los Cronocrímenes. Pretty smart time travel thriller all about causality. Not as cool as Primer but it's low budget is more than compensated for by its cast and smart plot. Not perfect but definitely worth renting.

That's why the pious have to burn a goat or something to get their god on their side. Gods love that ****.
Depends on how good your resume' is. I'm pretty sure even the most devout employer would be weirded out if you prayed during the interview. I tried glossolalia once but I didn't get the...
I'm plagiarizing myself since these threads pop up quite a bit. But I have yet to see any convincing evidence when it comes to ghosts or spirits or poltergeists or spectres or revenants or _____. Any semblance of a consciousness requires the physical processes of the brain and nervous system...

Imo, I think Nolan's...
Did you like The Killer Inside Me?
Casey Affleck just dominates that film. It was far more disturbing than I'd expected. I'm embarrassed to admit that I haven't read the book but I have read several of Thompson's novels so I should have been prepared for his brand of noir sleaze.
I'd like to see a lot more info' before I let three permanent mandibular and two deciduous teeth make such a big splash. :)
The teeth bear several Neanderthal traits and I suspect Paul Mellars is onto something in that this find may be more likely related to Neanderthals. In Hershkovitz and...
Mitochondrial Eve was an incredibly misleading term to dub the finding (I'm not sure if Allan King actually coined the phrase or if some science popularizer did- either way it's inaccurate and doesn't quite convey the findings of the original paper "Mitochondrial DNA and Human Evolution" in '87...
The glass frog (Centrolenidae) is awesome:
As is the rare Baudet de Poitou donkey (there's less than 400 in existence):
I know the OP specified animals but there are so many cool and weird plant species too. The Titan Arum really does smell like decomposing meat:
