NRA vs Sharia law new low ?

I think even the NRA card carrying (also gun totin) right wing folks must find this just plain nuts. Rep. Question on the Devi Gita and Shaktism in general!

Great Choice !!!! Arthur Avalon was a respected Tantric Practitioner. The Intro to this book is a great intro to Tantra. It can be hard to read because it was written around 100 years ago. Not all Tantric's worship the Goddess and not all who worship the Devi follow Tantra. In fact the...

For nondual Shakta scriptures you should read this. TRIPURA RAHASYA. Chapters I - XV of XXII Tripura Rahasya was considered by Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi as one of the greatest works that expounded advaita philosophy. The Philosophy of the Tripura Rahasya is Shakta in nature.

    Why is America condemning?

The whole poison gas issue with Iraq was hypocritical. Saddam Hussein was our man. America had no problem with him gassing his own people. In fact the Reagan administration tried to cover it up. At first they blamed Iran for the crime.

    how is Advaita not solipsistic??

May be this will help. Just as electricity gives off light differently depending on the type of light bulb it travels though. So consciousness looks different depending on the central nervous system processed it is through. Also a follower of Advaita Vedanta would say that is ignorance that...
