I have to say...
I interpret it to mean that non-believers are basically cast into Hell. I find that appalling. It is passages like these that cause me to ignore people who try and tell me that Christianity is an accepting faith. How is this accepting at all? Hey guys! I am back after not being on for quite a while. I have super-busy with school, and life in general. I missed you all so I wanted to come back at least every once-in-a-while. Has anyone ever heard of the concept of the Fylgjur or of hamingja? They are concepts from the Norse variety of shamanism. Is having a lion as a fylgja significant in any way?- Herr Heinrich

Does anyone here wear a torc?
It was hand-made out of braided wire. It was only 40 dollars. Brass and copper I think. http://avikingsdream.com/index.html This is their website. I don't see any torcs on it though.- Herr Heinrich

I know that this is an old thread, but oh well. I do wear a torc almost daily. I finally got one when I went to a renaissance festival in Central Ohio. From my understanding they represent Freeman status, not that you were willing to be sacrificed.- Herr Heinrich
