I second these, Jesus is not God but rather the Son of God, which makes him divine, and I also believe Mary his mother is an incarnation of the Divine Mother. So both are demi-Gods. But there is only one true God (i.e. The Father).
I believe God IS a Holy Spirit, so there is no difference to me. The Holy Spirit is not a separate force or person or even Mode of God, but rather is God Himself. John 4:24 - "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
Prayer and meditation are ways to get closer to God. Learning to hear God's voice too (which is what I do during meditation - wait upon him to speak to me)
