Your experiences with Sita Ram and other Rama mantras?

What do you think about the following? Glory of Rāma Naam

Your experiences with Sita Ram and other Rama mantras?

Maybe it depends on the person Rama's dealing with. Shiva is calm with me, but I've known people he's been enraged with. BTW, "Rama" means "branch" in Spanish. "Sita Rama" sounds to me like "quote branch". Anyway when I'm thinking of the god, I'm not thinking of a branch, so concentration helps. :)

Your experiences with Sita Ram and other Rama mantras?

LOL! I also had a vision once with Shiva and cobras. His intention was to get me rid of the fear of death. But it seems in your case Shiva was more violent! I think maybe he scared you so you go on with Rama.

    Suicide

Look I'm not Christian now, it's not my path, I won't write about my opinion and my experience in Christianity, but I will tell you first my way of thinking and second, what you can do as a Christian: In one of my previous incarnations (I think it was in 1832) my wife died of tuberculosis and I...

Your experiences with Sita Ram and other Rama mantras?

What have been your experiences with Sita Ram and other Rama mantras? Mine have been strange. I've recitated "Ram" in bed sometimes and twice Rama sent me to a forest in the astral plane to fight. "Do you want to be a warrior? Then you need training!" he said, wielding a sword (!). Very few...

    Benefits of Hara Om mantra?

My native tongue is Spanish and sometimes I had problems with Hinduism with some words and mantras... I asked forgiveness to the gods sometimes, because e.g. "Nama Shivaya" sounds like "nomás se vaya" (only let it go) or "Vasudevaya" sounds like "vaso de bayas" (glass of berries (!?) ), "Loka...

Well I found something similar to Hara om here for example:

    Benefits of Hara Om mantra?

So far I didn't find any good info on the web about the "Hara Om" mantra (Hara = Shiva), only about "Hari Om" (Vishnu), does someone know the benefits of it?

Chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo and the Lotus Sutra

Any reasons why he affirmed that? Nembutsu is supposed to lead to the Pure Land of Amitabha.

    Resisting darkness

And what do you do to get balance in that path?

    Resisting darkness

Probably my negative emotions were amplified, yes.

    Resisting darkness

I recently had a horrible experience with Christianity and to make the story short, I ended up putting Satan on my altar (the goat god). But after a few days I couldn't sleep and couldn't resist the mood he gave me. Let's say I got too much "yin". This image represents well how I felt: I...

Human appearances for divine beings instead of power animals?

I'm nowadays in a sui generis Christianity, but sometimes I feel I'm being guided by God/Great Spirit to Shamanism. Maybe because my Christianity has so many differences with the traditional one, that it's almost no Christianity! But I end up always feeling uncomfortable praying/talking to...

Which one is the Great Spirit?

Odin or Týr? Which one do you think is the Great Spirit? Twice happened to me that I was in bed, tried repeating "Great Spirit, bless me" for a while and I saw a Tiwaz rune in yellow light with my eyes closed. It was clairvoyance; not a dream or imagination, but a Tiwaz of actual light while I...

The Holy Spirit and the Paramatma

But wouldn't Allah and God the Father be better associated to Brahma the Creator? The famous old god in the sky with the white beard? AFAIK the Paramatma is god within us.

The Holy Spirit and the Paramatma

Could the Holy Spirit be a Christian way of seeing the Paramatma? The oversoul of God that accompanies the soul of every human being?

How do you deal with the cultural problem?

Something odd happens to me with the Norse gods. Maybe because of a German great-grandfather, Odin gives me signs he wants to be with me. But the times I've tried to stay with Norse gods, the more time I stay with them and the more I miss Celtic things. Besides, once in trance I saw Freya and...

How do you deal with the cultural problem?

Whether you're a Satanist, a Kali devotee or a Setian, there's always that fact of having to worship (or relate to) some deity that is of a very different culture. In every path I was in, I found myself always with the same problem. I feel at home with the Celtic things, but I have to...

    Santa Muerte is the Virgin?

So Jesus would be Mictecancuhtli. That reminds me Santería and their ways to disguise African gods as Catholic Saints.

    Santa Muerte is the Virgin?

Do you think Santa Muerte is a dark aspect of the Virgin? Many images show Santa Muerte dressed just like Mary or even holding the dead Jesus. What I mean is, maybe it's Mary the one who really acts when someone prays to Santa Muerte?
