Yes...Advaita normally means kevala-advaita ,unless stated otherwise.
Four acharyas from 4 states of south india..
Sankara--Kerala.
Ramanuja ---Tamil Nadu
Madhva--Karnataka
Nimbarka & Vallabha ---Andra Pradesh.

On a side note, acharyas of advaita,vishist-advaita,dvaita,dvaitaadvaita,shudda-advaita are from south and achintya bhedaabedha is from bengal(east)...but many vedic rishis are from north(that was before islam came).:D

I would suggest you get it confirmed by expert astrologers,bcos there are many exceptions to the rules of astrology which a layman may miss .In case if it confirmed ,u may visit Shree kal hasti.
But most Christian countries now enjoy good peaceful atmosphere,then the internal strife present in say the modern Buddhist countries for instance.So,my vote does count :o.
Celibacy is a pre-requisite for some of the Yogic practices,but I dont think a person has to be a life long celibate for following the Bhakti school.Many acharyas like Ramanujacharya were householders at least for some period in their life.
