Sin is anything placed before the Will of GOD, also known as idol worship. Any thing that brings shame to the conscience is sin.
The Christ did not absolve all sin allowing us to sin freely in vanity.
The Christ is the way towards the Will of GOD through his teachings, example, and self sacrifice.
People get confused about the sacrifice part, but we are to sacrifice wants for self and live wholly for the Will of GOD.
This isn't salvation which is available to all, but a maturing of Faith in Christ and GOD.

I believe some people think so but it is not so in the least. The Christian expects to be held to the same standard as anyone else and we know we can fail to live up to that standard as others do. We just have an advantage in having Jesus as Lord and Savior who keeps us from sin.

I believe it was Jacob who ended up lame. Anyone in a body is vulnerable in the sense of the body being vulnerable, including God. Of course God can choose how vulnerable He wishes to be but we can't.

I believe then that you will sin and pay the wages of sin which is death. However I can identify with that. I wanted to control my life also but found that it was impossible for me to do so. The truth is that at any time the world can alter your state without your permission.
