This is a one act: Sinful man for Sinless Man.
The animal sacrifice was but a reminder of what was required by God. Do not compare the two: God says: ‘Sacrifice I did not want - but obedience!’.
Ask yourself, a perfect parent: If your children continue to do bad, would you not ‘sacrifice’ something if there’s to teach them a necessary lesson?
Yes, of course you love them… Of course God loves His children - but wayward children need correction and a knowledge of what will come of their waywardness if they continue!!!
For angels, if they are wayward, they are sealed for death - only one error and it’s caput!!!! But God FORGIVES his [human] children time and time and time again.
Do you not read: ‘How many times should I forgive my brother?’… Jesus answers: ‘70 times 70 times 70…’
That’s is my brother… how any times does God forgive us??… So God does not forfeit our lives lightly but only in the extreme…, and only at the end.
But here we speak of two things:
- Eternal death that comes to all mankind irrelevant to their sin status. In this ALL MANKIND ARE CONDEMNED THROUGH THE SIN OF ADAM
- Personal Sin… which condemns a man on his own sinfulness - not to do with Adam
Jesus came to wipe away the first - the sin of Adam. The eradication of spiritual sin that was in all mankind. One death for the death of all mankind … it’s as simple as that!!
