With the recent wave of bomb threats and desecration of Jewish cemeteries, I'm left with a question I've often asked but never understood. What are the reasons for Antisemitism? Do you think any of it is jealousy over the fact that in Scripture they were "The Chosen People"? The fact that some Jews were opposed to Christ 2000 years ago is a pathetic reason to despise them today.

Anyhow, I don't think Jews have done anything to warrant the silly things I've heard like "Jews are trying to take over the world". I'm just confused about where such ideas come from.
