So if we find a specimen with a mixture of traits from different taxa, that would be a "transitional fossil", correct?

You would have to show that it undoubtedly inherited those traits by changes in DNA, exactly what those changes were, why they occurred and how they occurred. Also, a detailed account of each & every change in between, stating all of the facts above for each one.

Let me ask the Evo crowd; if I agree that organisms adapt to their environment (which they do), will you agree to stop de-humanizing people? Will you just say 'we don't know if there is a creator or not' and move on? That is a deal I would be happy to make. Scientists could go about their days studying things, and religious people could go about studying the Word of Yahweh. How about that as a peace plan?

He said the exact opposite. He said transitionals between larger groups are "abundant".

Gould said some were transitional to save fact, but there are none.

Yes there are.....tons of them. We even have data sets that are pretty much all transitionals. If I post an example, will you look at it, or are you still operating under your ridiculous framework of refusing to look at anything?

FYI, if their is not fossils linking them, you can't use them as evidence of evolution. That is a great big DUUH

the language of Evolution is directly parallel to political objectives in mass homicide. When The State wants to liquidate people, they dehumanize them. Evolution provides a perfect cover for employing this device. It affirms that we are just cells, cats doubt on our divine heritage, thus programming people to accept that people are just a part of the natural record. IN this way, disposing of or enslaving people becomes easier to accomplish.

I"m not willingly blind to anything. I am open to anything, given sufficient evidence to believe something. I have never been given good evidence for the existence of god(s) and so I do not believe. I'm always willing to change my mind, if I find that I am wrong about something. I only want to believe things that are true. Your verses do not accurately describe me, or my views.

Except that it's not obvious. There are billions of people who don't believe in the god you believe in. And many who don't believe in any gods. And still many more who came before us who believed in thousands of other gods.

a rather blaze response to the countless victims of dehumanization. I guess the Indians who used to live here didn't really mind it, or the blacks who were enslaved, or the Jews in the ovens. I guess they must have thought it was a real hoot.
