Intolerant of it simply because it is wrong. Affirmative Action was not the playing of the race card; it was in response to the race card already having been played.

Negative response to Trumps' obviously racially charged remarks is not playing the race card; it is the response to Trump playing the race card.

If that is what you think, then you are not getting what I am saying, and are just being coy as well as stupid. You just think I'm upset that Hilary lost, and that is not the case here. Besides, you're missing the all important distinction I am pointing out about the race card and reaction to the race card. We lost a great program called Affirmative Action because those who did not want people of color to advance themselves (for various selfish reasons), convinced others that it was 'race-based', implying that it was flawed and should be discarded, when the fact is that it was a response to a racist system already in place, as a means of providing a helping hand to the racially disadvantaged. If you deny that we live in a basically racist system, then you are just in denial, and don't know jack s**t. There are many who want to get rid of the hard won Civil Rights Laws, even. Not sure if they want to drag this country back to the 1950's or even the 1930's, but whatever the case is, those who do are a bunch of ignoramuses, who fail to understand that by providing more opportunity to the racially disadvantaged is to their advantage as well.

You are, obviously, quite delusional.

You are, obviously, quite delusional.

What is obvious is that you must resort to ad hominem because you have nothing of any real substance to say. Mouse, you know that I already know your patterns, so give it up, already. Hip to your mouse trix.:p

...the other being ineptness, which I already mentioned. Bottom lline is that Trump voters generally think the current admin is not doing things right and that Hilary would just have followed the same pattern, while they see Trump as an agent of real change.
(I changed my font color just for you ha ha):p

Actually, I think she'd worse than Obama...for the same reason that Jill Stein does, ie, that she's more prone to war than Trump.
Now what was it that Trump repeatedly said about going after Hilary when he got into office?
He was going to grab her.....uh.....

The problem with color is to use any special color.
It corrupts the quote function for those of us who insert responses within the quoted post.

Do you live in a reality where affirmative action isn't exploited?

In my opinion, it is the response from seeing things that aren't even there, and is delusional interpretation of meaningless words.

It sounds like this, "I don't know the full story of what Donald may or may not have done over 40 years ago but if he says the word Mexican or Muslim 40 years later he is a racist because of affirmative action."

This is not a great day for anyone. Republicans were so blinded by their hatred for Obama and Hillary that they elected a clown as the president. This is not good. You guys had far better options. I disagree with Rubio, but he was a far better choice for the GOP and the country.

Democrats...this should be a major wake up call to you. The Democratic party is the reason why Trump won. Make no mistake. They rigged the primaries against Sanders for a corporate elitist in Hillary. All the evidence for election fraud was there, then WikiLeaks released emails proving it. At that point, Hillary should have stepped aside. But nope! Hillary assumed that because she had the media in her pocket that they would sweep the story under the rug. Heck...Hillary and the DNC should have realized their mistake at the Democratic National Convention:

The DNC thought the "Bernie or Bust" crowd was bluffing. They thought that anyone considering a third party would vote Hillary as long as they kept repeating "Trump". They thought that No Way Trump would get elected because minorities would automatically vote for Hillary. You guys had a candidate right in front of you who was beating Trump by double digits in every state and in every poll. You had a candidate who would have won by such a landslide that half of his stuff would have already been moved into the White House by now. But the Democrats wanted Hillary.

Myself? I proudly voted for Dr. Jill Stein.

To the rest of America...congratulations. You elected a clown. Mr. President elect (thrown up in my mouth) Trump.

I can never say I won't vote for someone, until I know who they're running against. For example, four years ago I said I would never vote for Hillary. And yet in weighing her against Trump I voted for her. When I looked at Sanders, I knew I had a candidate that would've caused me to vote for Trump.

Same to you!

Relief yes, this is a vote for stability, sanity, restoration. But I pray, quite literally, for the same on the other side. The hate I have witnessed towards this president elect and the American people who elected him, is unprecedented in my experience- from people I know and love dearly. It is heartbreaking.
Being in the state of New York almost all of my life, I've seen Trump in action throughout his successes and failures and his ability to see things through, his resilience, as much as his flamboyance and off the chart character. It tends to be amazing the people who had started out hating the man, ended liking him down the road for so many reasons.

This time however with lessons learned, it's for everyone this time around.I really hope most people come together and set aside differences and concentrate on what's really importaint.

The prosperity of this nation and its people.

My point exactly, let go your hate. Do you support Ben Carson and his pledged efforts now to help our new president replace the nightmare of Obamacare? Or are you racist?
Exactly. If racism was truly that bad, Carson wouldn't be Republican. Incidently, he was my first choice in the nominations for president. . =0)

A reminder at what's really importaint here.

I really like this by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

It hits home well.

Now, if only the haters can let go of their hate and grasp opportunity with both hands. This election wasn't just about Hillary, it was about an authoritarian left that could not sell its message. Back to the drawing board....

After meeting with President Obama, our President Elect and Commander in Chief Donald J. Trump has removed any ban on Muslims from the platform.

President Elect has made this decision on good reason that we may not have full insight of.

There will be a rigorous vetting system put in place to prevent terrorists.

We supporters of our President Trump must have trust in his decision. At this time you must be steel in your trust of our Commander in Chief of the United States of America.

Let us move on from this, and let us Make America Great Again.

Clearly true, one would think? and he was my 1st pick also! But I would also have been happy to back Carly Fiorina were she nominated, as sexist as I must be as a conservative!

Just heard Dr Carson talking about possible Surgeon General/ health position in the new admin. I was reminded that Trump is not the only non-politician we are talking about in this new government... it's a beautiful thing;

OF the people, BY the people, FOR the people ... I admit I was beginning to lose hope, faith, that this ideal would not 'perish from this Earth' as Lincoln warned.

Many many thanks, and God bless to all here who like I, said a few prayers for this.

What does it mean when the KKK holds a celebration for the election results?

Seriously, I'm not sure what to make of this.

What do you Republicans think?

Let America become that beacon of freedom and prosperity once again.

Quite frankly, I'm tired of the concept of a unique America being the lone" beacon of freedom and prosperity', and all that. We need to face the fact that freedom is a universal idea that all men feel inside, and pull back from the world and become quieter...yes, quieter, and allow the rest of the world to come into its own without our constant interference, an interference that has proven disastrous in many cases. We need to focus more on our own internal affairs, and come to grips with the fact, for example, that our health care system is something like number 37 in the world, and other countries have a far more advanced infrastructure than ours. So let's stop bellowing about how wonderful we are, assuming that we are the ones that need to be the beacon of blah blah blah. Instead, we need to look at the health care systems of other countries, even those of little Cuba and now Mexico that put ours to shame, quite frankly, and on a larger scale, France, England, Canada, and Japan, and put together a system from ideas taken from them.

You can't be free and prosperous if you're sick, and if the poor are the ones mostly sick and who cannot afford healthcare, then they can spread disease to those who are not sick, which only ends up costing everyone more.. A healthcare system that takes care of EVERYONE, means a generally healthy entire population, and not just one for those who can afford it.

Unfortunately, it appears we now have a president who is going to throw monkey wrenches into the economic workings of many other countries so America can get the upper hand, something we do NOT need in this time of worldwide upheaval. We need cooperative societies, not competitive ones. This is why Trump is wrong for the country and for the world.
