Having a baby is very visceral for lack of a better word. Whether a child comes into the world is a serious thing. Best not to mess around with that stuff.

a woman can have dozens of babies. supposedly the body is temporal in abrahamic religions but the spirit is eternal.
so at what point does that spirit take possession of that body? is it possession if two spirits inhabit one body?
is it trespassing against a neighbor to try and control their free will that god gave them?
how is it loving to control other as self who isn't directly affecting self but self is trying justify one's beliefs in enslaving another?
they were seeking to harm the individual who was a living being. how do you murder that which doesn't breathe? that doesn't have the breath of god in it?

Not going to cut it. You know the baby in the womb does still require oxygen to survive. Just because it's lungs aren't actively being used; because they cannot, because there is no air to breathe ... that doesn't mean it's not getting oxygen.
Are you saying it's okay to abort a "fetus" up until the moment of birth?
living tissue requires oxygen, arms, legs, knees, heart. cut it out and if it can't breath, it doesn't live. in order for it to be a living soul, per the bible, it has to breathe.
cancer requires oxygen. any type of growth in relationship to the body needs oxygen. doesn't make it a human, an individual.

One could take this in regard to heavenly bodies. The Earth breathes. You're just a growth within her.
The spirit is making a journey to earth as the baby develops into a new human being.

According to the Bible the life is in the blood. (Lev 17:11)
According to science; the baby's own blood cells begin to develop week 5. That is logically therefore it's own life.
So when you abort a "fetus" after week 5; you're literally shedding it's blood. Not the mother's blood. It can even be a different blood type than the mother!
According to your reasoning anyone being kept alive by ventilators doesn't live.
It's not a tumor. It's a baby that God gave.

That is quite the stretch. Meanwhile you have to ignore Exodus 21 22 which rates an accidentally caused miscarriage as a financial wrong where accidentally killing the mother would have rated the death penalty.
this is why jacob's ladder, the angels ascending/descending upon the son of man. until that body is fully formed it cannot take possesion of that body. two spirits cannot reside in one body; without it being possession

without the breath of life, the breath of god in it, it is not a living being, not human. the bible makes that clear in genesis 2:7. god first created a body that the spirit of god; which is eternal, inhabits after the body is fully formed and god breathes the breath of life into.
if it never takes that breath, it never lived. it can't breath; if it doesn't have fully functioning lungs
leviticus 17:11 is refering to a live, breathing animal that was to be eaten.
