A world without religion

Me Myself

Either has no humans on it or has like, two humans, non religious, that after a few generations given normal human psychology will undoubtedly generate one or several religions.

I mean seriously, I dont understand how you honestly expect a world without ONE single religion to be better than a world without science, understanding that science has come about very recently on human development (and has been good, not saying it hasnt) but religion has apparently been there probably around the time we became human, alongside art traditions and rituals.

Honestly, if there is no religion in the world, there are likely no humans or VERY FEW humans.

If there is no science in the world, it means a specific technique for accuring knowledge is gone.

I love science and all, and I dont even consider myself religious, but I cant fathom what could happen in human psychology so that religion would be extinct and imposssible to come back on anyone ever.

It would without question be a change way more radical than simply not having religion. And we cant predict such change.

That's because humans are prone to naivete and delusion. Those are the only two characteristics you would need to eliminate from human minds to erase religion.

Ironically, that is a naive and delusional idea :p

Do you honestly think qe have a "BS" area of our brain that could simply be extracted?

The same things in our brain that make us capable of fixed dogmas for religions make us capable of foñlowing fixed dogmas for law.

Thinking you just need to remove a simple purely detrimental part of human biology or psychology that has no benefits whatsoever is going to eliminate human spontaneous generation of religion without eliminating absolutely anything else is naive at best.

If you aren't religious - where is this idea that without religion there would be, no humans, two humans, or very few humans, come from?

Think.

What would need to happen so that NO ONE in the WORLD is religious, and NO religion suddenly generates NOWHERE?

Keep in mind some people exist today that still believe in a Flat Earth.

I still do not get what you are trying to say - as - no religion is needed for evolution.

I think you're completely missing the point. I'm saying naivete and delusion are the only things keeping religion alive; not that we should physically remove pieces of people's brains to eliminate it... People aren't biologically wired to stupidly believe that there is a man in the sky watching everything we do. If that were the case, we would all be religious. There's something else going on there that doesn't require a biological change.

A world without religion would be pretty boring. I do not understand how that would equate to there not being that many humans around though.

Pardon me, but I just don't see spiritual awareness as "naiveté" or "delusion." I see it as the opposite.

You can belong to a group that doesn't teach ancient superstition. There is really no need fulfilled by religion you can't get elsewhere.
Again, I disagree. I haven't found any other communities that foster deep relationship grounded in spiritual awareness, other than religious ones.

And "spiritual awareness" benefits people how, exactly? There are people that give no thought at all to spirits or spirituality, and live just as happily and productively as any "spiritually aware" person does.

Do they?

Who do you know that's "spiritually-aware?" How do you know they're "spiritually-aware?"

I could ask you the same question. Assuming that by "spiritually aware" you mean people that believe they have souls and need to nurture them doing "spiritual" things, I know plenty. I am the only atheist in my family, you know. They don't seem any happier than I do.
