I separate myself from the God of Abraham.Do believers separate themselves from God?
or does God separate itself from believers?
Neither, in my Abrahamic tradition.Do believers separate themselves from God?
or does God separate itself from believers?
so are god and man one?Neither, in my Abrahamic tradition.
I believe we are separate in the same way a parent is separate from his child, but that we are more than mere creations. I believe that God is literally the father of my spirit and that I am His spiritual offspring and carry with me a spark of divinity. Mormonism seems to focus on how we are like God more than on how we are different from Him. Obviously, we have a long way to go to become like Him, but we believe we do at least have that potential. Kittens grow up to be cats; puppies grow up to be dogs. And children of God may attain godhood eventually.so are god and man one?

There is a temporary physical separation, yes.ah so you do separate god from its creation.
I guess that would be a reasonable way of looking at it. Or, you could say that I believe Him to be functionally omnipresent but not ontologically omnipresent. In other words, He has a physical location but has a spiritual presence that extends wherever He wills it to.your god isn't omnipresent? but it's spirit is?
Huh? I'm not sure I'm following you. Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm not following you. Would it make more sense if you realized that I believe God is a corporeal Being?that seems to be a contradiction. god is but god isn't. or is god a spirit and of no matter? if no matter then how can your god exist in matter that it doesn't have an attribute of?

I don't understand the question.
My soul and my life AND MY EXPERIENCE WAS CREATED BY HIM/HER/IT. I do not separate myself for what God has done.
some believe god and self to be separate. who creates that separation? who turned their back on who?
namasteI thought all Abrahamic believers believed that.
...To suggest otherwise is to suggest that I am God.

Yes. And what does this mean to you? What is "spirit" in your estimation?god is spirit?
And what are we? How could we be expected to worship Him in spirit if that's not what we are, too?John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."
imagine talking to yourself......and only your echo repliessome believe god and self to be separate. who creates that separation? who turned their back on who?
consciousness. ruwach means mindYes. And what does this mean to you? What is "spirit" in your estimation?
a state of matter. a state of mind. And what are we?
then is god separate from self, or self some aspect of God materialized in us?How could we be expected to worship Him in spirit if that's not what we are, too?

1 John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
