It's hard for me to speak Biblical truth without offending anyone. Someone will always be offended when one speaks biblical truth. That is all i do. Now if this is a Religious Fourm, lead by christians, i thikn). Should not i have the right to speak that which is true?

This is a religious forum, led by members of all faiths, representing all faiths, and welcoming all faiths. We all have the right to speak what we believe to be true, but in the same breath, we've all agreed to follow the forum rules. That includes all of our members, whether we believe that our faith to be the only correct one or not. (I say 'we' because the 'staff' is under the same rules.)

Please let that answer the rest of your post, too. If you've any more questions, please feel free to ask, either one of the other mods or admins or myself. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Are we to stand by and let the fake be fake and the truth presented as a flase thing?

If History offends someone then it just does. But if it is true then let it be true. You should not hold back historical fact or truth becuase it offends.

All the hoopla we had about christianity being picked on in the past few weeks and now this?
Oy!

I do not mean to offend anyone here. I Believe in Jesus, and all the words that he said. And one thing he did say is "I am the way the truth and the life, no man can get to the father but by me". I simply Beleive that he is who he said he was, The son of God. Over 300 Messianic prophecies fortelling of the promised Messiah were ALL fulfilled by Jesus. Is this Chance?

There is alot of compelling evidence for Jesus, one evidence for me is that he lives inside me and I live in Him. This is true, his words are true, there is only way way to God and the World must be Told.

I personally think that you cannot judge people's religion. You get no where from telling people what religion is right. When religion is just to set up boundries and respectible laws for us to follow
such as Satanism. My mother hates that just because she links that with killing and the love to get in trouble. She has never stopped to research the religion before passing judgement... that makes my angry. :D

Well thats obvious. because atheists attack my religion. im not saying all atheism should i be against. im just sayinbg there are many who would want to see the destruction of religion and i wouldnt stand by and let that happen.

When I was an atheist the only time I "attacked" your religion was when some of your coreligionists offensively "attacked" my disinterest in their religion.

IOW, apply the "Golden Rule" and you are not likely to have too many problems from atheists.

Keep in mind this was the Catholic Church. Not all Christiandom. The Catholic Church was lead by a man who was and is called "heavenly Father" and they added to the Faith men's tradition. Catholics lied to their people. Telling them if they went on the Crusades they (who had great sin) would certainly go to heaven. Much of what the Catholcis did does not represent true christainity just a transformed Pagan religion(i am not calling catholocism a pagan religion)....(^_^).

The Catholic Church did those things. And It makes me mad they even tried to do it in the name of Jesus....they didn't even know the Bible(mainly becuase they didn't have one). But the Priest didn't even teach the laws of God concerning war and peace, nor the teachings of Jesus, to be at peace with all men. They ignore this and only obey the Pope.
Like the posts of trolls everywhere, sir, I must say yours are quite stultifying.

Oh yeah -- Have a nice day. :)

There was a man who went to court. He was accused of killing his girlfriend. They said they had enough evidence to convict him guilty. He lived for thirty years in jail and died. then new evidence arose, they found a hair, the man had not actually killed his girfriend, her father did.
Okay. Let us know when the hair and fibre guys have done with the crime scene, and we'll see if they've come up with something we can prove the big fella left behind.

Evidence is just something to convince you. There is enough Evidence to believe in God. As well as evidence to doubt him.
I think you'll find that the atheists just don't seem to find what you consider evidence to be compelling. Bit of a hung jury kinda deal, to continue with your court room analogy.

Christians are the only people out here doing the World the most good, feeding the hungry, healing the sick. We are a kind and nice people. Yet Athesit smack us in our faces and say our God doesn't exist. It is humanistic and anti-chrsitian, in a Western Christian world.
I'd offer to find you a band, but you seem to be doing a fine job blowing your own trumpet.Good to know all those non denominational aid agencies - just for starters - aren't actually doing anything.:sarcastic
If your god can't recognise good people by their works and the way they live - no matter what label is assigned to them, then he's a pretty poor diety who should see a medical professional about his tunnel vision. Wasn't there something somewhere about by their works shall ye know them ? Not their titles, their beliefs, or their natty blue hats. Their WORKS.
As far as I'm aware, atheists are a pretty non descriminatory lot. They have no particular set against your god, they're all in favour of an across the board disbelief. They're stating their belief. If that's smacking people in the face, then you've fairly bludgeoned the majority of this community.

Like i've said before. here are alot of Good People who feed the Sick and such. But who bears Almost all of the Burden? Chrisians.....PLus There is enough Evidence you just will not accept it, you'd rather not beleive in God....

Also God is not a weak Diety, what you do does not make u right with him, It is only by the Blood of Jesus tthat you can be right with God, no matter your works if u sin once you are condemned. Yes, by Works you shall know who men are, now if one acts like a christians walks like a christian, but doesn't have a faith of a christian, he aint a christian. Works without Faith is dead, why feed the sick? Why help the needy if you just beleive we are evolved animals? Or Why ehlp the needy if u beleive we jsut cease to exist after death? or Why help the needy if you beleive we are nothing but animals "we are not designed in the image of God", we are not special..?

I tell you Many Religions hold a respect for human beings, but none surpass the Respect Christians have for mankind, the Creation of God, whom he loved and Died for.

You have no idea what I believe...don't presume to make assumptions.

I don't believe I've ever said he was a weak diety. Based on the word of some - and I emphasise some - Christians, I've said he was bigoted, nasty, irrational, exceedingly stupid and has a very narrow viewpoint, but I've never said he was weak. Oh, and I may have implied he was a cross dresser at some point also. I seem to recall something about a frock. But still, never said weak.

Works without Faith is dead, why feed the sick? Why help the needy if you just beleive we are evolved animals? Or Why ehlp the needy if u beleive we jsut cease to exist after death? or Why help the needy if you beleive we are nothing but animals
Faith without works is also dead. Personally I have far more respect for works without faith. It's a better person who helps with no hope of an eternal reward, but merely because it is right. Why help the needy if you think they're going to a better place after they die? Why help the needy if they are not of your faith and therefore destined for a not very nice end? Unless it's to convert them to your faith...which means you're helping them as a means to an end. That's hardly charitable or showing respect.

"we are not designed in the image of God", we are not special..?
Let me explain special to you. My son has Lego. He makes some great stuff with it. Stuff entirely out of his head, creative little bugger that he is. But I tell you, if I walk into his bedroom one day and some of those bricks have made something of themselves, that's going to impress me as pretty damn special. A lot more special than some entity sticking then together and saying,'Ooh, look...a goat.'

I tell you Many Religions hold a respect for human beings, but none surpass the Respect Christians have for mankind, the Creation of God, whom he loved and Died for.
Yes, and every 'Christian' who condemns anyone that doesn't toe their line or support their belief as any worse than any other person or destined for hell because of it makes a blatant lie of that statement.

Are you saying there is no point in caring about humane acts if there is no higher power/s?

We're of the same planet. Life is a rare thing if you compare the number of animate living things to the number of nonliving animate/inanimate things in our universe. And then there's the fact that out of countless numbers of sperm, we were the lucky ones who found the egg. This is just my secular view as to why I should treat people with compassion; there are atheists a plenty here who will give you just a good answer.

Personally, I grow tired of people pointing the finger at atheists and saying they purposely block away God. Most people would welcome the existance of a God, even if they disagree with the policies He/She/They put forth. I'd love there to be a heaven. I'd also love there to be gnomes and fairies and elves. Should I believe in something just because I'd like it to be true? I'd say no, but everyone has their own opinions.

Why feed the sick? Because God says so.
Why help the needy? Because God says so.

Why did you help those people? Out of your own personal conviction or because your religion demands it of you?

At least those who provide their time and effort without the thought of eternal reward can be expected to be honest about their work.

Why is it so many people must resort to spiritual principles to justify good works?

I have a Spirit Inside of me which gives me a drive. I am kind, Respectful willing to help anybody. And If i had the chance to stab my enemy in his back. i would now, I help him stand. Why? Becuase i know in the end who will win.

You May deny God now but why do u really deny? What are your reasons for not beleiving in God?...

Answer my Two Questions please....

1) Do you beleive Jesus died on the Cross?

2) What are your reasons for beleiveing no God exists?

If Jesus did not Die on the cross why do Eyewitnesses write that he did? And Also why do Roman Historians(who were not christian) write that Jesus was Crucifide. Why do Jewish HIstorians write about this, if he did not die on the cross? There is enough Evidence to beleive Jesus died on the cross, Historical evidence supports it.

If jesus did not die on the cross why did Acared Disciples Die for him? If he did not die on the cross why did Paul a Jew, who killed christians convert to christianity and die for the very religion...if Jeuss did not die.....History proclimas he died, you have no ground to deny this at all. I say this in truth, youn have no ground to deny Jesus Died.

lol....John a disciple of Jesus, he wrote about Jesus. Peter was a Discple of Jesus, he wrote about it. Paul saw Jesus, he wrote about it. Matthew was a disciple of Jesus, he wrote about it. Even the Muslims write about it...

Do you escape or try to ignore the Historical records written by Jews and Romans aboutJesus? do you? It is Sad if you will ignore Factual Evidence....this is bad....
