Alarm Bells Are Ringing At DNC

I am not so sure about that. We got rid of our crook, liar, and incompetent President (though he could conceivably return) and our rather "boring" contestant against him won.

Though we could be in some rougher times ahead. You guys should be happy, you are already at the bottom and things can only look up politically. We just crawled out of the swamp, but we might drag ourselves back in.
I've said it before, I think it highly likely that the US is on the downslide towards a country you could not have even imagined just 10 years ago.

Dems need to get rid of him. The absolutely only thing he had going for him is he isn't Trump and he isn't constantly reminding us of his pathetic insecurities and endless need for attention. He was a very terrible choice to run then, he's a garbage choice in a couple years. He needs primaried out if Dems want the White House going into 2025. There is no way around that because it will send disenfranchising ripples throughout moderate and undecided voters.
I like Pete Buttigieg or AOC, I hope either one of them will be our next President!

Yup. It's why I'm looking to get out. It is getting nasty, and when it gets nastier it's an even crazier brand of Republican gaining control.

I'd rather see no one with a D or R attached to their name.
I almost fully agree with the Green Party platform, but I fear my vote for a Green Party candidate would be a wasted vote, Hence, I vote the lesser of two evils between Democrats and Republicans,

140 year Democrat stronghold... the question that they should be asking is "Why did that happen". It may save the Democratic party if they do
After the 2016 election they should have asked real questions as to why people would vote for Trump. They didn't, they just continued to call us names and deplorable. I doubt they will ask these questions.

I recently voted for Green candidates for first time. And if more people dropped that "wasted vote" mentality and just did it the two party death grip would be obliterated. It would still be a dysfunctional winner-take-all system, but Dems and Reps are strangling America.

Ultimately We the People did reject Trump in 2016. He was not elected by our Will. He won because of an outdated system that occasionally lets the loser win.

It's going to be a red tidal wave in November! :D

You say that like it's going to help you or other average citizens. Regardless of which party ends up winning, I have a strong feeling things won't improve much or at all for most regular citizens. The bipartisan system simply plays ping-pong with government seats and often does nothing significantly helpful for anyone but elites and wealthy people.

Won't that be lovely. And here's why:

1. First things first -- make sure that elections in every state are so rigged that only Republicans can ever be elected again. (Note: in the Republican interpretation, this is not considered anti-democratic -- just God-ordained.)
2. Then, once there's no point in having elections, they can safely be altered to be purely decorative. (The downside is, if they're doing something you don't like, you won't have an alternative to vote for. But naturally, they'll never do anything you won't like, will they? I mean, even when you've got all the power, you're still a saint if your Republican, right?)
3. There'll be huge tax cuts because there won't be the need to support universal medical care. (Unfortunately, this will be offset by even larger insurance payments, huge costs for those who are sick, and the expense of a lot more funerals. But what does that matter, as long as there are tax cuts? Yippee!)

You are not going to like the future of your nation, whatever you suppose in your myopia at the moment. On this, I'm sad to say you won't believe me, but I wish -- for your own sake -- you would.

I fear so too! I am also worried Biden will not be able to run for a second term, However, I do expect the inflation rate to drop below five precent by 2024, this economic improvement should then hopefully switch voter sentiment in favor of Democrats.
Worried? Why do you want an Alzheimer's patient in the white house?

Well, it appears that people are tired of being taken for granted.

Republicans flip U.S. House seat in South Texas, historically a Democratic stronghold

I mean, didn't Texas just get finished aggressively redistricting more GOP seats into existence in their state? In the House of Representatives at this point, it's more accurate to say that the representatives get to choose their voters, rather than the other way around.

Austin, TX, for example, is parceled up into the corners of 7 different districts, just so that a large population of liberals will be diluted into several mostly conservative districts. It's grotesquely undemocratic. Then again, the Southern US has always had a thing against democracy. :/
