Allergies and Other Proofs Against God

ROTFLMAO-----No fellow ********, the moon doesn't orbit the earth,
The moon gets way from us each year by some 3-4 cm (3.8 actually at the moment). Thats why in some 500 million years your decendents wont see any solar eclipse.

and the earth is flat, and the sky is a dome over the flat earth

------I just don't know what to say,
Well, maybe you should for once just shut up ?

Yep the moon, "it actually GETS AWAY from us, yep moving straight out into space, I wonder how lang that has been going on. Maybe what you mean is it's orbit moves slightly further away, thats why we have mirrors the surface so as to measure the orbit with lasers. Must I tell you everything, do pay attention there will be a quiz latter.
We most DEFINETLY dont have mirrors as to measure the orbit with lasers BECAUSE it moves slightly further away.
But thanks for acknowledging what i said initially anyway.... the moon gets away from us. Thank you for some 20 lines of nonsense only to finally tell me at the end what i said already in the first place-> The moon gets away.
You see, thats why i used the word STRICTLY after informing you that we had not yet spoken at all about what "orbit" actually means for example in the context of a teapot.

You do get confused don't you, mass and size do matter, the larger the mass the more effect gravitational forces has on the object. GOT IT!
Of course velocity is also a factor in keeping orbits from decaying.
Generally i have a strong dislike for people that as reply only state "it is as i say" without any evidence.
Even if you take the gravitational forces (which I mentioned myself by the way) that include the mass of both objects initially this wont help you.
I showed you the calculations for a 2 object circular orbit.
The mass of the smaller object gets eliminated in the term.

If you think you know better then please show us all by providing the calculations. Especially i would be interested in your "size" factor.

So if we get a zit or are constipated, I suppose that also proves there is no God.
That is too funny.:p

Yes,

What possible use is there for a zit or constipation. They have no purpose so therefore useless but we still get them.

An all loving god wouldnt give us zits and constipation that's just mean.

An all knowing god wouldnt make such a mistake in our design.

So yes zits and constipation disprove the existence of the archetypal all knowing, all loving god. Which is popular with you christians.

The Flood was also divine intervention against Satan and his demons because no longer after that could the demons appear in human bodies. And prophecies about Jesus show there will once again be divine intervention, not by water, but as foretold (Isaiah 11:4; Rev. 19:11,15) when the words from Jesus mouth will be as sharp as a two-edged sword, an executioner's sword, and Jesus will rid the earth of all wickedness and usher in peace on earth and peace to men of goodwill.

So god killed possibly millions of people to take out a couple of demons.

Surely an all powerful god can come up with a better plan that doesnt even killing people.

And i'm pretty sure demons can swim.

Strictly speaking for example the moon doesnt orbit the earth.

For your information, the Moon orbits the earth, though it does move away from the earth at the rate of 3.8 centimeters a year, IT STILL ORBITS THE EARTH!!!!! Talk about kindergarden!!!!

Your ignorance is truly astounding, "We most DEFINETLY don't have mirrors as to measure the orbit with lasers" Well someone left a 2 foot wide panel studded with 100 mirrors pointing at the Earth, Neil Armstrong maybe, remember Apollo 11, maybe you were not born yet, which would explain your ignorance. It is called the "lunar LASER ranging retroreflector array" Scientist using telescopes "ping" laser pulses off this array the determine the rate the moon is moving away, and also use the data for gravitational information. I usually charge for educating people, but since I like you, it's free.:shouthttp://www.religiousforums.com/forum/images/smilies/yelling.gif

It is telling that you left something out in your "explanation". Namely the "BECAUSE".
Typical.

You should pay more attention when reading what I write.
Your original statement:
Maybe what you mean is it's orbit moves slightly further away, thats why we have mirrors the surface so as to measure the orbit with lasers.
And i again tell you that it is not because of the distance increasing that we have these mirrors. Actually the fact that it moves away is something we came to know because of the mirrors.

For your information, the Moon orbits the earth, though it does move away from the earth at the rate of 3.8 centimeters a year, IT STILL ORBITS THE EARTH!!!!! Talk about kindergarden!!!!
I stated already (twice by the way) that we hadnt spoken at all about our understanding of orbit.
Now as i get it you define orbit as the circular or ellipoid movement of one object around another one. The movement obviously DOESNT have to be stable or constant.

Ok, i will accept that definition.
However by that definition you can of course have a teapot move in orbit around the sun. It doesnt even matter if "once in time" it will (or wont) fall onto Jupiter at all. Thanks for clearing this matter.
So we are where we started: you didnt disproove that it is impossible for a teapot to be in orbit around the sun.

Let me put this in a way that a child can understand it, Apollo 11 installed this mirror array to MONITOR the rate that the moon was moving away from the earth, talk about comprehension, what the hell does "It is not because of the distance increasing that we have these mirrors" mean. You initially stated that "we definitely DO NOT have mirrors on the moon"

Reading comprehension one more time, where did i ever say an orbit had to be STABLE OR CONSTANT. Remember once again, it was you who declared "The moon is NOT in an orbit around the earth.

here is your statement on post #321---"We definitely DON'T have mirrors as to measure the orbit with lasers"

Now, do us all a favor and go to www.science.nasa.gov----read what it has to say, then get back to me telling me just how wrong you were.

Uh, yeah we do. That was how we discovered that, even though we got to the moon, our calculations for there the moon actually was were off by 10 meters. We just got lucky that the calculation wasn't more off...

It's really hard to read your posts.
"What's the difference between an orange?"

"Twenty seven, because iguanas have no earlobes."

This is what your posts sound like to me.
