So you are one of the Jews who is hostile to believers as is mentioned in the Quran.

You will find the most violent in enmity to the believers are the Jews and the mushrikin (pagan Arabs); and nearest in affection to the believers are those who say: "We are Christians." That is because among them there are men that are priests and monks, who do not behave arrogantly. 5:82 Quran

Do you have something similar where you live?
There is a more reasonably-sized chicken place nearby that has better food and also serves it up quickly despite being busy all the time. So I have my own "Al-Baik" of sorts, except a lot more expensive.

I can't believe how huge that place is. You guys "super-sized" both the meals AND the restaurant itself. :D

It's good when members post their beloved brands in posts.
Tis not merely advertising to sing the praises of outstanding products.

I remember as a lad, we were having a new very large diesel generator fitted in a barn, to supply electricity both to the house and yard buildings.
As is was being bolted down to its concrete base, the fitter took out a vast King Dick spanner and proceeded to swing on it ... whilst singing its praises....... In mid swing there was a loud crack and he went flying into the back wall. The much lauded spanner had snapped at the head.

What happens if prayer time comes while you're still in line?

It's complicated and detailed. Everything is managed that some time before the prayer a warning is given, telling customers that orders are only for take out, cooking stops and what's available is listed and announced, etc. I personally never had problems with it, and I'm a faithful customer. The shown cases are rare actually, but it still does get seriously crowded in a way that does not cause any problems in this regard. Also, customers know the risk and attend ready for it.

It's complicated that only a local like me would really know how it feels :)

Edit:
Some places don't say a thing if the customers are in side and ordered already. They just close the place until prayer is over then open again.

Is it any where near that gym? If it is, I'd understand why ;)

Yeah, this one is different. It never ceases to amaze me even after all these years! No other place here comes even closer to it.

OMG @Smart_Guy ...How long does it take to get through that line in the picture. Being impatient, I would go through the teeny line at KFC and have their reconstituted mashed potato powder:)

Here is another thing I wonder about. In Saudi Arabia, about 25% of the people are foreign workers/non-national immigrants. Are they the ones that do most of the manual labor for this great chain (making a better life for themselves than in their home countries).

I honestly never been in such big lines. Those pics are taken in two rare occasions; one in a Hajj season (once a year and stays for 3 days only) and the other in an opening of the only branch in another city (I think they closed haha). I run away from such cases :p But from the looks of it, getting done there could take no less than two hours (being optimistic here). In the daily normal rush hours, it takes me like 15-30 minutes. I consider it a huge accomplishment if I pass in less than that.

Yes, non nationals are most of the staff. But there are lots of locals working with them, and I noticed the difference for sometime now.
