The only reason for this introduction is simply how different and special this Al Baik is. Before going into details, I'll give a preview on what I mean by special. Here are some pics and videos:

And now for a video:

When I visit them, I always face trouble getting in line due to how crowded it usually is. You see how some people do crowding around celebrities? I don't think it comes close to how crowded this place can get.

It is a fast food fried chicken restaurant. Here are the meals it provides:

The first line is chicken and the second is fish and shrimp. The main dish it provides that is the main attraction and the pride of this place is the regular fried chicken. Here are some actual pics of it:

It is my all time no. 1 favorite that unlike other places I stayed loyal to it ever since I knew it 20 years ago. No other fried chicken even comes closer to it. KFC is nothing compared to it. Some of their branches have KFC close to it and that latter is like abandoned. People park their cars on front of it to walk to Al Baik

The taste is crazy and their services are superb. The price for the typical/main dish; a 4 peaces of fried chicken (or half a 900G chicken) with a bun of bread and two packs of garlic sauce is SAR 12 ($3.2 USD). They provide free drinking water and free extra bread and garlic sauce (as seen needed) to dine-in customers. The garlic sauce alone is a peace of art. It even reached Wikipedia. Here's a link:

Do you have something similar where you live?

Never been to USA in my life, and not sure if I ever will be, but I'll keep that in mind :)
And if you ever do come to the U.S.A. you'll probably choose Kansas City. Right?

I didn't even know for sure if Kansas City is in Kansas. It isn't.

Well, there is also a Kansas City, Kansas, but it is much smaller than Kansas City, Missouri, which is located right across the river...

If only. Liberals all but destroyed the great flavors and quality of food in the name of health and obesity.

Kfc used to be superb until they were forced to change the ingrediants years ago.

That moment when Weird George comes in and gives a fatal hot shot to a junkie and it foams at the mouth and it gasps it's last breath whispering it's last thoughts in listening ears-it always seems an awkward moment.

I am sure it is no surprise to you, I am clueless. Can you offer me a hint please?

I am saying that someone from another country who thinks of traveling to the USA probably won't think of Kansas City first, second, third, forth........

Maine, maybe. LOL
Lol...pretty much no matter where you're from in Illinois, people ask, "Is that near Chicago?" Southern Illinois is 500+ miles from Chicago...I'm "only" 230 miles from Chicago...

Illinois is a little bigger than Maine and Maine is easier to spell, I think. Maybe twice as big.
I thought Maine was big. I shall stand corrected.

Washington DC is just 600 miles from here.

Who's Weird George? He isn't big enough for Google.
Weird George was a friend of mine, the type of guy who you were glad was on your side and one you probably never heard of. In the 80's when cocaine was king he liked to take a dump and not wipe himself and he invited high class girls to clean him up with their tongues for a few snorts of that drug. It was amazing how many did the dirty deed.

Are you talking crazy at me because you think I went off topic?
Let's! Invited or paid?

Invited for a few snorts or paid with a few snorts? Do you understand the question? :p

Too much fast food is bad for the body because it has sugar and it is fried. I suspect it is sugar that makes it taste so good.
