Am I a Muslim?

I do not know. Sometimes I do. Sometimes I do not.

I always consider myself to be one who is trying to submit to God. That does not waver. In that sense I am.
However, I do not intend learning Arabic, praying in Arabic or adopting cultural practices which I do not feel that I need to.

don't worry, the majority of Muslims don't know arabic to speach with it , and they are not arabic native .
praying in arabic " salat " or fasting ramadan .....etc, is all between you and GOD .

I don't know of any Muslim who has actually 'SEEN' God or even claims that.

The one who has the true ability to see, or to connent with that Supreme, that person doesn't need any claiming in this false world.. loll

For example: The one who holds true friendship with any KING, that person doesn't need to claim his friendship among the people in that kingdom.. loll

In fact, according to Islam, that would be one of the pleasures of Paradise(not in this world) - to be able to SEE God .

Today's Islam is not a single person, Islam is the name of community, and community is just the group of people like other groups, nothing else..
